Fishin Addiction Charters are exactly that, addicted to fishing and making sure you have a great day, hooking the big game. Just let Captain Dan know which fish you are interested in hooking and he will bend over backwards to meet your desires. Captain Dan has over 15 years of experience fishing off the gulf coast. He knows where the fish are, and will always try his hardest to get you on the fish.
Customers can try a multitude of different fishing techniques. Captain Dan will be on hand the whole time, showing you the best way to hook the fish. He will teach you about the species' habits, the do's and don'ts connected to each species, and the best way to catch them. Not only will you come away with dinner, which Captain Dan will filet for you too, but a great fish education too!
The diversity of the fish you can expect on these trips is huge, from Redfish and Speckled Trout to Mahi Mahi and Jack Crevalle. The longer trips will also see Blacktip Shark, Red Snapper, Great Barracuda, and Yellowfin Tuna.
Captain Dan has outfitted his boat to a high standard. For particularly windy days, he has spray curtains to keep you dry, as well as a dual live well station to house plenty of live bait. The holding capacity under the deck is huge, with space for around 1500 fish, so tripping over coolers will not be a problem!
Safety is paramount to Captain Dan, who has an eight-person liferaft. He is federally permitted and insured for charter and commercial fishing. Please note, for children under 10, or any petite children, parents should bring life jackets with them. For over 10, there are life jackets provided.

Everyone caught multiple fish and also caught a shark. I was so wasted from working so many hours and no sleep even took a nap at the front of the boat for a while and it was more relaxing at sea than the terrible hotel we staying at. Will definitely use this service again when we come back. Captain was great and very helpful and the fish variety was good too. Got what we paid for and then some. 10/10 recommend them

5 Hour Trip – Shark Hunt (PM) on March 11, 2023 • 4 adultsWe do a lot of boat charters when we travel and this is one of the best ones we have seen (without spending thousands of dollars and going deep sea). The captain and mate were so much fun and they clearly knew and loved what they were doing. We started the day catching enough to fill our fridge, then we went for and caught a jack C to use for bait. Then we went trolling for sharks and caught 2 (which we, if course, released). We ended up running over time because the second one took forever to reel in - and the guys were so accommodating and great. The boat was super and had plenty of muscle to navigate the windy Galveston area without anyone feeling unsafe or getting sick. It was perfect for fishing. The only caveat is that if you are looking to lounge around (which I sometimes like to just ride along while my family fishes) then you need to check ahead and be sure they put you on a boat with accommodating seating - this one didn't have seating for that. But if you want to fish, this is the boat for you - clean and uncluttered for when you need to walk and reel in those big ones. If I could give the crew 6 stars, I sure would. Thanks for such a great day! Oh - I almost forgot the dolphins... they LOVE to follow around the fishing boats. We saw over 50. Forget the dolphin tours - go fishing!

We also went in the morning and avoided the heat which made the trip even more pleasant. We all loved it. We caught only small fish and almost at the end, we got a shark!!! We worked the jetties for eaters until the bite fell off, and busted a move on sharks. Ten of ten would recommend after the day we had. We will be booking with these guys again.

I have been chartering fishing trips for many years. This was the BEST! I wanted to find a good fishing trip for my brothers and I to take. My brother has had some recent health issues and this was the BEST TRIP! Captain Ken made every effort to ensure everyone of us got personal attention and was successful in catching fish. This included contacting other captains fishing nearby to find the best spots! Great Job Captain Ken!!!
