Fish On – Fort Gibson Lake
Fish On invites you to join them for an amazing Oklahoma adventure. Captain David Clark runs fishing trips on Skiatook, Sooner, Fort Gibson, and Oologah Lakes, year round. He doesn't look at his charter business strictly as a job because he truly enjoys it. His main goal is for everybody onboard to have a good time.
The boat you'll be fishing from is a 25' Willie bay boat. She accommodates up to 6 guests. The boat is powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine and can reach a maximum speed of 30 knots. This means you will reach the best fishing spots in no time. The boat also has Humminbird and Lowrance navigation electronics, safety equipment, outriggers, downriggers, and a live bait tank.
Your adventure will start at the Mazie Landing Marina on Fort Gibson Lake. The main targets on this location are Catfish and Paddlefish. The best way to catch these is trolling around 4 mph with the lines out behind the boat. You can also try using Shad as live bait for Catfish – it all depends on the conditions.
You're welcome to keep the catch (within legal limits) and Capt. David will clean it for you after the trip. Make sure to purchase your fishing license on time and bring your snacks and drinks.
Fish On is all about taking you on a fishing trip you'll remember for a long time. Choose one of the 4 lakes they operate on and get ready for some serious action!

Can't wait to go back out and get a paddle fish and hopefully the 35 pounder that barely missed the net for proof but couldn't get the camera in time. Captain Larry was funny and just a cool guy to chat up with while on the waters of Ft.Gibson. Very knowlegeable and experienced.Awesome time; thank you Larry!!! My girlfriend and I will be back 🙂
My name is Brice Pope, I've been a fisherman my whole life and it runs in both sides of my family. The love of being outdoors was passed down to me and it's something I focused on. It's a good thing for me and a good thing in my life a healthy safe way to spend time and enjoy the outdoors with friends. In times past this is part of the way my grandparent's put food on the table. We are still putting food on the table, but I've come to realize what a joy it can be to share the knowledge of our local fisheries with others that want to learn and visit from out of state and even out of the country. I've been blessed.
