You’ll be exploring these waters on a 23’ Alumaweld aluminum fishing vessel, perfectly built to cruise down these waters. There’s room for up to 6 guests on board, making her the perfect choice for a private family trip, or for lone anglers to mingle with up to 5 new friends. On board, you’ll find GPS, fishfinder, and life jackets in a variety of sizes. However, Capt. Desmond recommends bringing your own vests for small children, to make sure they’re comfortable.
Portland is one of the Pacific NW’s most famous cities, but it’s also a hotbed of incredible angling action. Capt. Desmond will take you to the hotspots that surround this location, and will have you targeting Coho and Chinook Salmon, Kokanee (also known as Sockeye Salmon), Sturgeon, Steelhead, and more. Even though we didn't catch anything on our 4 hour trip neither were any of the other boats around us. We had a great time and learned a ton!
Captain Desmond was incredible. We caught fish from start to finish the biggest being over 7 foot! What a fight and we will definitely be coming back!
Desmond was on time with all of his gear already setup and ready to go when he arrived at the pier. Desmond is very knowledgeable about the layout of the river and where the hiding holes are. We had a group of 5 and we were very well taken care of, Desmond was on top of everything and went out of his way to ensure we got our money's worth. I will definitely recommend his services and book again myself when I am in the area. Thanks so much Desmond!
