You'll spend the day fishing from his 31' Alumaweld Pacific boat known for its high-end performance and smooth ride. This is a great boat for both experienced and beginner anglers alike to fish from. There is plenty of space to move around once you hook a fish and seats and a heater for a comfortable ride out.
Besides Brookings, Capt. Steve can also depart from Gold Beach. From the meeting point, you'll be able to fish the Ocean. You'll also be able to catch a variety of Rockfish, Coho Salmon, and Chinook Salmon.
Included in the price are top quality rods and reels that won't let you down when reeling in your trophy catch. After the trip, the fish you can legally take will be filleted by the captain for you. Also included in the price are the lures you'll use.
You should bring along your own food and drink. Everyone over 12 will need an Oregon fishing license with the appropriate stamps for the species you'll be targeting. Don't forget to bring sunscreen, a sun hat, and a camera. You should wear light layers and bring a light jacket.

Great trip with 3 generations of family. For his birthday, 10 y/o son wanted to catch fish in the ocean and keep them. Well, he did that by catching his limit of rock fish with a ling cod to boot! Captain Steve offered outstanding service and knew where to find the fish. 6 hour trip flew by, because we were busy hooking into fish or getting to the hotspots where they were at. Great fun, memories made, well worth it.
Great job guys!!! Getting a day out on the ocean with family. The fish is the bonus!!! Enjoy those fish taco. See you next time!!
