After the big rains come-we follow the salmon up river on the chetco, elk and sixes rivers and chase them in our 17x60 Willie drift boat. The techniques can include running plugs, to bobbers to back bouncing roe. These trips are a two person min/max trips.

DRIFT BOAT SALMON

This fishery out of Brookings Oregon is a near shore fishery dependent on seasonal approval. For 2026 we will be fishing ocean salmon when ocean conditions allow from March 15-May 15

Ocean Salmon

In the fall we target large king salmon entering the Chetco River system. These giant butter balls are hard fighting and straight out of the ocean. We are allowed two salmon per day, which only one may be wild. Once the big rains come, we move up river and chase them in a drift boat.

Salmon-Chetco Bay Trolling

Starting January 1, we start chasing steelhead in the Chetco and Rogue River. These trips usually will go into Mid March before we switch over to Spring Salmon. These trips can be in a drift boat or guide sled depending on location.
