Kovach Fishing Charters specializes in bottom fishing and trolling the waters surrounding Jensen Beach, FL in search of various fun local species that are sure to delight all anglers. Offshore, nearshore and inshore, Captain Kevin Kovach has experience fishing all the local fishing grounds and will be able to adjust the trip to better fit the preferences and experience level of your group.
Come aboard the captain's 26' Twin Vee Ocean-cat and experience fishing on one of the smoothest riding boats out there. The boat is a 2018 model, powered by dual 150 HP Suzuki engines and equipped with the latest electronics and safety equipment. The maximum capacity of the vessel is 6 guests, who can all fish comfortably at the same time. There is also a hardtop to protect you from the sun, as well as a portable toilet.
You will be provided with all the things you'll need to fish. This includes top-of-the-line Penn gear, fishing licenses, and live bait – caught before the trip and always included in the price. There is no minimum age for kids joining in on the trips. You do, however, need to let the captain know if your group has kids in it, so he's able to have appropriate life vests on board.
Captain asks all guests to arrive 30 to 15 minutes ahead of the trip. Things you should bring on board are sun protection, sunglasses, towels, beverages, and food. There is a cooler for drinks and food and a second icebox for the catch.

We had an amazing time, caught some fish, and recommend this charter. Captain Kevin was knowledgable and made the trip feel very laid back. we will definitley go fishing with Captain Kevin again.

We had a great trip. Im new to the area and my son was here to visit. We were looking to get out, see the area, and catch some fish. Kevin was great, knowledgeable and kind. we caught a bunch of fish and some keepers. looking forward to another trip in the future.

No bells and whistles but fun nonetheless. Captain Kevin is knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating! My husband and I had a lot of fun and would charter him again. Ladies- FYI, no bathroom. You’ll have to go for a swim for that. 😉

You are correct about the no bells and whistles, that's how I keep my prices affordable, from my experience with saltwater bells and whistles tend to break very often. You are correct about the boat not having a full stand-up bathroom (due to the catamaran hull) however I do have a portable camping style toilet in the center console.

He has always enjoyed fishing and didn't see himself spending more time in a 9-5 job so he found a perfect combination of pleasure and enjoyment and became a captain. He enjoys showing people what's out there, teaching them about the fish, and how to fish for certain species. He's been living and fishing in the area for 8 years now and has seen the area go through a lot of changes. His Moto is 'Keep it simple and don't overthink things'.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
