Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, King Mackerel, Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, whatever else is biting. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Charley can also have you Flounder gigging.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your excursion begins aboard a 26' Bluewater center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Had an amazing fishing trip and couldn’t be happier with the experience. captain Charley was knowledgeable, professional, and made sure everyone had a great time from start to finish. He knew exactly where to go, kept us on fish all day, and was great at helping with bait, gear, and technique. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We caught plenty of fish and made some great memories out on the water. You can tell he really cares about giving people a great experience. Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun and successful day fishing—I’ll definitely be booking again!

We had an awesome time today with Charley's Fishing Charters. We got on a few nice fish early and then saw a break in the action through much of the morning and mid afternoon. We reached out to several other boat crews on the water with all others sharing similar reports. Charley and Dennis were determined to get us back on fish and boy did they deliver. We hooked into a Sail fish before the end of the day and several large snapper filled the coolers. This was a father-son trip we will never forget! We will be back for sure!
We had an absolute blast fishing with Charlie and his first mate Kevin. They couldn’t have been better with our 4 kids. This was our first family trip on a charter and they really made it a great experience for everyone. It was a very windy day and Charlie bounced around from spot to spot until we got dialed in and everyone was catching in no time. We went home with fresh fish and memories that last a lifetime thanks to their due diligence.
Big thank you to Captain Charley and Captain Kevin for this trip. They are very knowledgeable and do their best to ensure you have a great time. We caught a total of 18 fish. -5 Mahi -2 Blackfin Tuna -8 Vermillion Snapper -1 Barracuda (Small and released) -2 Blacktip Shark (Accidental and cut loose). I had a Kingfish on the line towards the end of the day, but he shook his head enough and got away. I only needed about 20 seconds more and we would of had em. They flayed and cleaned our fish. We went home with more than enough food. I will book with them again when I come down to Florida.
Charley and Brad his mate were absolutely amazing! Charley VERY knowledgeable and hands down has been THE BEST charter we have ever taken. We did a 6 hour trip. We have our own boat and do a lot of deep sea fishing, wanted to get some experience with fish we have no knowledge on catching . We wanted to learn about catching Mahi and Charley went above and beyond the expectation we even had going into this trip…we caught Mahi, Kingfish, Bonita, Sailfish, and Remora. Do not hesitate when booking with Charley - again the BEST!!!!! Loved it when Charley stated - “WE DO NOT GET SKUNKED on this boat”! He absolutely made sure that did not happen. As I said to Charley - THIS MAN HAS A SKILL Most people dream of having.
