Ready to go fishing in Jensen Beach? Look no further than Charley’s Fishing Charters! Captain Charley will be your guide, bringing aboard years of professional experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, King Mackerel, Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, whatever else is biting. You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Charley can also have you Flounder gigging.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your excursion begins aboard a 26’ Bluewater center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

6 Hour Trip – Offshore
Great Trip with Good Folks.
Big thank you to Captain Charley and Captain Kevin for this trip. They are very knowledgeable and do their best to ensure you have a great time. We caught a total of 18 fish. -5 Mahi -2 Blackfin Tuna -8 Vermillion Snapper -1 Barracuda (Small and released) -2 Blacktip Shark (Accidental and cut loose). I had a Kingfish on the line towards the end of the day, but he shook his head enough and got away. I only needed about 20 seconds more and we would of had em. They flayed and cleaned our fish. We went home with more than enough food. I will book with them again when I come down to Florida.

6 Hour Trip – Offshore
Excellent experience
Charley and Brad his mate were absolutely amazing! Charley VERY knowledgeable and hands down has been THE BEST charter we have ever taken. We did a 6 hour trip. We have our own boat and do a lot of deep sea fishing, wanted to get some experience with fish we have no knowledge on catching . We wanted to learn about catching Mahi and Charley went above and beyond the expectation we even had going into this trip…we caught Mahi, Kingfish, Bonita, Sailfish, and Remora. Do not hesitate when booking with Charley - again the BEST!!!!! Loved it when Charley stated - “WE DO NOT GET SKUNKED on this boat”! He absolutely made sure that did not happen. As I said to Charley - THIS MAN HAS A SKILL Most people dream of having.

6 Hour Trip – Offshore
Captain Charley 6 Hour Off-Shore
Captain Charley was an absolute pro! When we got to the ramp, the boat was already in the water, and the motors were all warmed up and ready to go. We grabbed some bait and quickly chased down a few more bait schools, filling the live well in no time. After a smooth ride out to deeper waters, we hooked up with two fish in just a couple of minutes! Cap kept us on the fish the whole trip, and even though they weren’t biting at times, that’s just how fishing is, right? We managed to land four fish, including two bonitas, a sailfish, and an amberjack. A few more fish slipped away, but for our first offshore fishing trip, I’d say this one was a total success. Thanks a bunch for an amazing experience, Captain Charley!

Another Great Trip
This was our second time booking with Captain Charley and it was again, a fantastic experience. Charley is super personable and genuinely cares if you have a good time fishing. He's easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and patient. This was such a great trip, we caught meat for the freezer and even a bucket list item for me, reeled in 2 sailfish and got some great pics and video of them! I can't recommend Captain Charley enough, he's a great dude and a great fishing guide! We'll definitely be back and will recommend him to all our friends looking for a great fishing experience! Thanks a ton Captain!!

4 Hour Trip – Inshore
Few fish caught - but successful 1/2 day on the water
Charley and first mate, Kevin, were great at doing their best to get fish on our lines. Although we had booked an inshore 1/2 day, they first took us out of PSL for some close-in offshore to a reef for some bottom fishing (some bites, but no catches). On the way back in to the intracoastal we had a big (still not sure what) fish break the line on rocks -- whatever it was, it was big and fast! Once back inshore, we fished a cove, under a couple bridges. We lost another couple of bigger fish that broke the lines bringing them in. Ended up with a couple of smaller fish in the boat for the day, but learned a lot about fishing these waters. Oh, and the music playlist was great!! We will be booking another trip.
