Orlando Florida is truly a wonderful place to visit, so come and experience it with Captain Tom Carver and his crew. We strive to make your day on the water a successful one.
The Lagoon starts at the northern end known as Ponce Inlet and makes its way south to Merritt Island. The 20 plus miles of shallow flats averages between 1–6 feet of saltwater. This estuary gives life to many special creatures including the Florida Manatee and Bottlenose Dolphin. Kids love seeing the creatures freely swimming around the boat as we fish the flats. However, the common Stingray seems to amaze them the most.
Capt. Tom targets Redfish more than any other species due to the popularity and the amazing fight that they put up when caught on light tackle. Other possible catches are Snook, Tarpon, or Speckled Trout.
You'll fish from a 22 foot Cobia bay boat. This vessel rides smoothly through shallow waters and she's powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine. The captain will make sure there's everything you need for fishing onboard, so you only need to bring your snacks and drinks.

My son and I had a nice trip on the Banana River. Although we did not catch much, Captain Tom made sure we had a good time and learning. We had a nice dolphin encounter with lots of dolphins right next to the boat. The Captain managed to manoever us in Tarpon rich water. They were all around us. However, they probably had a very early breakfast before

Tarpon, I have a massive love-hate relationship with. I love them because they are so fun to catch however, I hate them because they roll all around you and never eat. Your son is a very talented fisherman, especially for eight-year-old Had a good time fishing with you guys
We caught a few trout and a couple sailfin catfish. Both were a new species for us! Captain Tom was attentive, and great to chat with. Bites were on the slower side but, we had a great time.

thanks!

thanks
Grwat mornings fishing and as usual Captain Tom was good at finding the fish and getting everyone to carch fish. Great time had by all.

thanks

Captain is likeable & knowledgeable. Our weather was very cold and windy, not good for fishing. The water temps were way down. But the captain still put us on fish, just not anything that you would eat. The dolphins & manatee were a very welcome surprise. The boat & equipment were clean and everything functioned as designed.

just curious What would make the boat a five It’s in really good shape I’m not sure why it’s a four
