Largemouth Bass will be your targeted species. Searching for that 10-pound fish of a lifetime, which has made it into the Hooked On fishing boat this year!
On the day of your trip, you're likely to use Texas-rigged worms, swimbaits, and other artificial baits using light or heavy tackle.
You'll be fishing aboard an 18' Bass Tracker that holds up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing boat can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait can be available, but you should ask the captain whether you want to use it for the trip as there is an additional fee for live bait ($20-40).
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some essentials to bring are a hat and sunglasses. Water is included, free of charge.

A lovely fishing trip

from the very first contact Marc was very good and quick to respond to my messages with answers to my many questions as a first time Florida angler I have a few.
it was a beautiful warm, calm morning with no wind and Mark took a straight to the action and within a few moments we were soon into The Fish action due to his knowledge of the local lake trends and habits he read the movement of The Fish really well and we were onto lots of schools throughout the session, I had my first experience of catching large mouth Bass and really enjoyed the experience thanks to Captain Marc.

Big Florida Bass!

We were in town for Minnesota for a ball tournament and wanted to catch some of the big bass they have down South. Ended up catching more than we could count!
Captain Marc adjusted due to inclement weather, and took us to a great spot on a lake that wasn’t so windy (there were 30 mph gusts that day).
Captain Marc did a great job communicating and really knew his stuff once we got out on the water.
Great experience. Thanks Captain Marc, will book another one next time we’re in town!

The captain was amazing at finding fish — we were getting bites almost nonstop and caught a ton throughout the trip. We’re beginners, so this was honestly way beyond our expectations. I’ve never seen artificial lures work this consistently before. Super fun experience and highly recommend this captain!
