Fishnut Charters invites you to experience a fun filled day on the water, fishing the beautiful estuaries around Charleston, SC. Captain Todd Gough has been a resident of Mount Pleasant since graduating from the College of Charleston in 1989. He has extensive knowledge of the local waters and knows where the fish are most likely to be feeding on any particular day of the year.

Fishnut Charters offers inshore charters , , designed to accommodate any angler, from the beginner to the seasoned fisherman. Capt. Todd takes great pride in helping you with all aspects of your trip and ensuring that you have “your best day ever” and, of course, that you catch a lot of fish!

Hop aboard the 22’ Tidewater Carolina Bay and start your adventure. This vessel is powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine and is fully rigged to enhance your charter experience – it has Lowrance HD10 GPS/Fishfinder, Power-Pole 10’, Minnkota Terrova iPilot, and a hard T-top for shade.

Each trip includes fishing licenses, rods and reels, tackle, live bait, and lures. An onboard cooler with ice will be provided by the captain and you are welcome to bring your choice of snacks and beverages.

Fishnut Charters makes it easy for you. Just book your trip and show up at the dock. Capt. Todd will take care of the rest! As always, children are welcome because the captain loves showing his passion for fishing to the younger generation.

Catch of the day... This charter experience!

We booked this inshore fishing charter with Captain Todd last minute after two other charters fell through—and we couldn't be more thankful for how it turned out. What started as a backup plan quickly turned into one of the best fishing experiences we’ve ever had. Captain Todd was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the best fishing spots, but also a total blast to spend the day with. His energy, expertise, and sense of humor kept all four of us adults engaged, laughing, and learning throughout the trip. We landed some solid keepers, but the real thrill was the number of absolute monster fish we hooked into—nonstop action, exciting battles, and unforgettable moments on the water. If you're looking for a reliable, entertaining, and fish-filled inshore trip, don’t hesitate to book with Captain Todd—you just might end up with the highlight of your entire vacation like we did.

Nothing Short of Amazing

I cannot say enough good things about Captain Todd! We went as a family, so we had our 10 and 7 year old with us. My 10 year old has high functioning Autism. Captain Todd was incredibly patient and did so great with both of our boys! He didn't mind my 10 year old asking a million questions and both boys being so very impatient and pulling up their line ever other minute. Lol. He was very knowledgeable and new the best places to fish to get those line popping. We can't wait to save up money to be able to go with Captain Todd again! Highly recommend him, most especially if you have kiddos. 🩷

My family has taken 2 trips out with Captain Todd and have had a great experience both times. He knows the places where the fish are so it up to you and fish. BEST Fishing Trip Ever!!!

We had a blast!! Me and a buddy took our sons and their friend.. All 12 years old.. and Todd was amazing.. he taught us alot on the water and was an exceptional host! Not to mention the boys caught sooo many fish! it’s the experience that counts! I cannot recommend him enough!

Chasing Reds on our anniversary

Captain Todd put us on the fish first thing in the morning with my wife catching her first red drum. He kept us busy on the water. Great day on the water! Definitely recommend to anyone and looking forward to booking another one in the future!
