Mount Pleasant has a fish with your name on it, so let Charlie's Charleston Charters help you catch it!
Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Bonnethead Shark, Spotted Seatrout, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. You can expect to do some spin casting or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that's dinner!
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. It's never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
Your vessel for the day is a 22' Sportsman bay boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Charlie will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
And that's it! Your fishing trip with Charlie's Charleston Charters is just a click away.

A perfect outing. Capt Charly had his squeaky clean well equipped center ready to go, after the safety briefing. We hit five of his favorite spots, 1 adult and 3 boys caught 35+ fish using his freshly caught live bait. A teal pro, inshore fish expert.
My buddy and I had a super fun day with our 4 boys and Captain Charlie we were busy catching Drum the whole trip and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a captain to take them out for a trip in the Mt Pleasant SC area.
Capt. Charlie was clearly a skilled and knowledgeable captain. Boat and gear was up to date. I’ve chartered several times on the Atlantic and Pacific. I highly recommend Captain Charlie’s Charleston Charters.
Captain Charlie casts bait like he’s been doing since he was in the womb. The most accurate we have ever seen. He treated us incredibly well and was a great conversationalist, even when we did stupid stuff and didn’t know how to fish at all. He knew exactly what to do at all times, and consistently found fish for us. Nothing but good things to say!

Had an awesome morning trip with Charlie. The boat was extremely clean and he provided all the gear needed to catch many fish. Look forward to fishing with Charlie again soon!
I have been fishing my entire life. I caught the fishing bug at a very early age, fishing for freshwater species in upstate South Carolina. When I was able to afford my own boat, I started fishing Bass tournaments and eventually competed in some lower level professional tournaments. I was a high school teacher and football coach for 30 years. About 20 years ago, I got the head football coaching position at a local high school and fell in love with inshore saltwater fishing. I started to guide, at first, just in the summers when school was out, then retired from education and became a full-time fishing captain.
