Get ready for a freshwater adventure in Central Florida with Family Style Fishing! Your guide for the day, Allen Maddox, is a 3rd-generation angler and Florida native with a lifetime of experience fishing the lakes and rivers around Orlando. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing family trip or the ultimate freshwater challenge, your time on board will be tailored to fit your needs and preferences.
You’ll be fishing from a 21’ Sea Chaser bay boat, equipped with a wireless trolling motor, live bait tank, state-of-the-art navigational equipment, safety gear, and fishing tackle. The boat’s shallow draft is perfect for fishing rivers, lakes, and other low-lying areas and the deck is spacious enough to accommodate you and 3 other guests. Everyone can fish at the same time and kids of all ages are more than welcome aboard.
You’ll be targeting Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Crappie, and Sunfish while casting, jigging, and trolling. Allen also specializes in popping, drifting, and spinning so you can expect to switch up your style depending on what your target species is.
If the sun is too hot and you prefer night fishing, Allen also offers trips starting at 6:00 p.m. so you can fish while you enjoy the beautiful sunset. You’ll be provided with high-end rods and reels made by Penn and Abu Garcia. You can also buy live bait for an additional price of $30 a dozen. At the end of the day, your catch will be cleaned and filleted so it’s one step closer to becoming a delicious entrée!
You will need to purchase your own fishing license. Just be sure to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure and bring some sunscreen as well as your favorite food and drinks.

First I have to say that it was a fantastic day celebrating my father birthday and spening time with family. It was made better because of Capt Allen. He know where the fish are and puts you on them. He also provided great knowledge of the area and lake because I love to ask questions. Capt Allen is awesome! I will definitely be booking again with him in the very near future.If you are wondering about a charter this is the one to pick!

My family and I had a wonderful time! We caught 5 striped bass and 5 black crappies. We had one fish that got away by breaking the line (large fish)! The spot Captain Allen took us to was a good location to catch plenty of bass and crappies. Bring your snacks and drinks, Captain Allen has the rest!

Alan (Captain Alan) was awesome. He was timely and very helpful. There were 3 in our group and he was well equipped for the fishing trip. We didn't catch a lot, but that's how fishing goes. The time on the water was so peaceful and calming. We just enjoyed being on the water and seeing nature.
It was a pleasure having y'all out for a morning of fishing. The fish definitely were not biting aggressively. I still say that it was the banana you brought was the problem. lol Over all it was still a good time!!!!
had a spare free day while on vacation so i booked a trip. got on some hybrid stripers early, but the bite died out after the sun came out fully. not too much you can do if they dont want to bite, but its still a good day to be on the water and still got to bring home some dinner!

Captain Allen was great. He responds quickly to questions. Had good directions on meeting location. He was ready to go as soon as we got there. The conditions were not ideal with the rain and wind that had the water churned up. He got us out to a few spots and put us on fish. I had a beginner with me and he helped her and got her casting on her own. She may have even out fished me. Al
