Captain Roberto Hurtado is a native to Costa Rica’s Pacific coast and has been fishing since he can remember. There’s plenty of comfortable seating for up to 5 guests aboard the 24’ Boston Whaler center console, and you can soak up the rays or cool off in the shade at your leisure. On full-day trips, you’ll be treated to a full lunch, while every trip comes with plenty of snacks and beverages. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience, so don’t feel the need to skimp on the drinks!
Fitted with downriggers and outriggers, you’ll troll a vast expanse of water, giving you the maximum chance of luring that prized fish. You’ll head up to 30 miles offshore to the deeper spots to find the biggest fish out there.
Go after some global favorite game fish and table fare, such as Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Grouper, and Snapper. Each of these beasts will dazzle you and leave you breathless in more ways than one. what an amazong day with my family of 5. We booked the 4 hour PM fishing trip and reeled on our first fish (tuna) almost immediately. The views from the water were phenominal. we caught two more tuna and a spanish mackerel. Our captian spotted dolphins and took the yime yo reel in the rods so he could create wakes fo the dolphins to swim in. They swam right to the boat and played in the wakes. it was such a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'm so thankful they took the time to do this for us! we swam at yhe end of our trip as well. it was overall a perfect day.
We had an amazing experience fishing in Costa Rica. The crew was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to make sure we had a great day on the water. The scenery was beautiful and the fishing was exciting — definitely one of the highlights of our entire trip. Everything was well organized and the crew made the experience fun and easy, whether you're experienced or new to fishing. Plus they made the best lunch and fresh ceviche out of some fish we caught! Highly recommend this charter to anyone visiting Costa Rica!
Sergio & Armando provided a great experience for my family and I. coordination & communication to arrange and meet was seamless - our time in the water was well spent, the ceviche and lunch etc provided was spot on. these guys are pros. highly recommended - they were kind, courteous and treated my family well. thank you Drew Chittenden
The day was windy because we picked the afternoon half day fishing charter. Should have gone with morning for smoother water, but the kids thought the swells were fun. We caught some tuna that were beautiful fish. Great Captain and crew, really good fresh fruit, and plenty of beverages to wet the old whistle.
i was taken care of very well. the captian was in contact with with other boats to find what was working in the area they made adjustments as to what worked. we caught 1 big mahi. the wind came up hard and moved inshore and caugnt many blackfin tuna while trying for something larger. over all avery good trip and highly recommend them
