Experience the ultimate Texas inshore fishing with Corks and Croakers! Capt. Mike has been fishing the Galveston Bay for the past 15 years and nothing can surprise him in these waters. He'll gladly share a fishing adventure with you, whether you're experienced or you're fishing for the first time.

Capt. Mike runs trips from Galveston but you can also find him in Texas City. You'll be fishing aboard a 22' Sea Pro boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. This bay boat is powered by a 150 HP Mecury engine and features GPS and all necessary safety equipment. The boat also has a wireless trolling motor, a cooler, and a live bait tank.

Your main species for the day will be the Texan Big Three – Flounder, Redfish, and Speckled Trout. They are available in these waters year round, so you don't have to wait for their season to come. You can keep the catch and the captain will clean it for you free of charge.

Capt. Mike also supplied your rods, reels, and lures. If you're using live bait, that comes with an extra cost – $25/qt for shrimps and $15/doz for live croakers. Water and Gatorade are also included in the price but you can always bring your own beverages and some snacks.

Inshore trips are a great introduction to the world of fishing. You don't need previous fishing experience and they are also family-friendly. With Corks And Croakers and a knowledgeable captain, you simply can't go wrong!

Amazing experience!
Winter special 3 anglers max on February 22, 20261 adult1 child

Wow, we had so much fun and learned a lot about the bay, fish, and the sport of fishing. Captain Mike was so patient and helpful, as we were complete beginners. With his guidance, we quickly gained confidence and were able to fish on our own. Great experience, we will absolutely be back.

Great day on the water
Redfish and Speckled Trout on October 18, 20252 adults

Captain Mike was an amazing and persistent guide today. The morning bite was slow and he continued to find the best spot in the bay to put us on limits of reds. He takes time to show the best way to cast and explain what you are looking for in the water to increase your chances of catching the next fish. Captain Mike is definitely the guide to book for your next trip. My nephew and I will definitely be booking him again for the next one.
