These waters are known for Redfish, Largemouth Bass, Flounder, Black Drum, Smallmouth Bass,, Blacktip Shark, Snapper (Blackfin), Catfish, Red Snapper, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Gar, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Kids are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your day begins aboard a 23' Sea Pro center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Steve was an awesome fishing guide for me and my son. As beginners, we really appreciate how patient and helpful he was throughout the trip. We had a great time and had a fun and memorable day! I would definitely book another trip with BoneFish Charters!
Captain Steve was very patient....worked well with my teen grandkids. Worked hard to find fish....everyone caught fish.....but most important everyone had fun on their first bay fishing trip.
