If you’re looking for a premier fishing experience on the prolific Mexican waters, Apolo Sportfishing is the charter to turn to! Captain Guillermo (Memo) Cruz offers a variety of angling trips that are successful, fun, and productive.

Join the crew on a 29’ center console, rigged with a 225 HP Yamaha engine, and you will be on the fishing grounds in no time. The vessel is spacious enough for up to 6 people to fish in comfort, and you’ll have everything you need on board.

Capt. Memo will provide top-of-the-line Penn International rods and reels, as well as live bait and a variety of lures. You’ll stay on the fish’s trail thanks to the solid navigational electronics and the first mate will help you with everything you need. He’ll clean and fillet the catch for your convenience after the trip. For his hard work, tips are always welcome.

Mexico’s offshore fishery is nothing short of superb and there are a lot of prestigious fish that you can catch. Giant Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, and Mahi Mahi are the norm in the nearshore waters, and further out Sailfish, Striped, Blue, and Black Marlin reign supreme. This is a paradise for avid Billfish chasers that are looking to catch their next trophy.

When you go fishing with Capt. Memo, everything you need will be ready for you on the boat. You only need to think about packing some food and sunscreen. If you’re coming with your kids, it’s a good idea to bring rods suitable for their age and your guide will have life jackets for them.

Let Apolo Sportfishing show you why so many anglers fell in love with fishing on the waters of Mexico!

3/4 trip with Pablo
3/4 Day Trip on November 22, 20196 adults

We had a great trip. We caught 5 tuna and enjoyed the crew. They have great and newer gear. They were very experienced and will book with them again next year when we come back to Huatulco.

3/4 day with Apolo
3/4 Day Trip on December 2, 20202 adults

I was supposed to fish with the Apolo on December 2nd, however the boat's motor was dead in the water, and we were transferred to a different boat. The downside was out trip was delayed by 2 hours.
