These waters are known for Flounder, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your day begins aboard a 25' Speed Craft center console with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. James has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I had a trip with Shore Chaos on 4/17/26. We wanted to target flounder and the cpt said no problem. Fishing started off slow with just one flounder first thing. Sometimes it goes that way. Just as we were about to head in the fish turned on and we caught three within a ten minute window. Should have booked PM lol. Me and the boys were in town for a three day turkey hunt at Pockomoke State Forest. Cpt took the the time to share his knowledge of the area and give us some pins of where to go. 2/3 of us harvested a bird the next morning. So we not only caught our flounder but also got some bonus turkeys (big ol toms). I would recommend Shore Chaos to anyone, just not the Friday before turkey season, cuz I'll be there next year too.

Great Fishing Trip

Shore Chaos Charters was a great close to our vacation. My wife had never been fishing with me and Captain James worked hard to make sure she caught fish! The Capt knows his stuff. He knew the water and fish and what they like to chew on! He worked the trolling motor and rigs. We caught a lot of flounder I think like 19 in 4 hours! Sum small sum big. Great time ! I would definitely use him again and already told my friends about him!

We booked a 4 hr flounder charter. They weren’t biting but we did get a couple hits. Having two children along, Captain James went out of his way to make sure we were lined to up to catch something and keep the kids entertained and engaged. We ended up catching fish and three stingrays. We all had a great time and will definitely book again next year. We highly recommend this charter for families.

This was the second charter with Capt. James. Last season we fished for flounder and this time Shark. We had a good time and caught fish both times.Today's shark fishing was good.we caught 6 sharks with a couple in the 45 pound range and quite a few spot in between the sharks. Would highly recommend Shore Chaos Charters and Captain James Cooper.

Awesome Family Friendly Trip

My wife, two young boys, and I joined Captain James for an afternoon shark trip. Not only was he very attentive to our baiting and hook ups, but also to our boys when they had a million questions and entertaining them when they needed a break from their rods. We highly recommend Shore Chaos for a great fishing trip!
