Kids who are 12 and under are welcome to join you on your fishing adventure, your guide loves having the little ones on board.
Please note that departure times and locations are subject to change based on the weather and tides. Your Capt. will reach out to you with the exact departure details for the given day you choose to fish.
Go after Striped Bass – a signature catch in this area – as well as Scup, Flounder, Black Seabass, and Bluefish on inshore trips. If offshore action is more your jam, then Bluefin Tuna, doormat Fluke, Haddock, and Cod are all in the cards.
You'll have top-of-the-line tackle at your disposal so that you can fight your catch without the danger of equipment failure. There's a variety of techniques you can try, including fly fishing, as long as you bring your own fly fishing gear.
The boat that will be your ride and fishing platform for the day is a 26' SeaVee center console with a 300 HP Suzuki engine. She's stable on the waves. Thanks to reliable navigational electronics, you'll be on the bite quickly.
After the trip, the crew will clean and fillet everything you caught, so all you have to do is remember your favorite recipe to cook them. Capt. Jason will provide everything you need fishing-wise, you just need to take care of snacks, drinks, and lunch on longer trips.

Took my 12-year-old and his buddy out with Captain Jason on the Got Stryper yesterday - what a day! Jason really knows his stuff when it comes to finding fish. We hit spot after spot and pulled in so many fish. We enjoyed fresh Striped bass for dinner The kids had a blast and Jason was great with them. He didn’t get frustrated when they tangled lines or needed help with their rigs. My son’s friend had never been deep sea fishing before and Jason made sure he felt comfortable the whole time. Honestly, I’ve been on plenty of charters where the captain just goes through the motions, but Jason was different. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and wants his customers to have a good time. The boat was clean and well-equipped too. The boys are already bugging me about when we can go again. That tells you everything you need to know! Definitely booking with Captain Jason again next season. Highly recommend if you want to actually catch fish and have fun doing it.

Capt Jason put us on the fish and we had a great time catching Stripers and the occasional bluefish. There was plenty of room on the boat and it is very well equipped. Great for anglers of all skill levels.

What can I say, Captain Jason made my kids trip to the Cape! While they only caught one fish and had one get away, Captain made sure my boys had an amazing time on the water! He did everything possible for the kids to have the best time (the big kids had a great time too)! We had to reschedule due to weather and Jason made that super easy! If you are debating booking Got Stryper, don't hesitate he will make your fishing experience wonderful no matter how experienced your party is!
The fish definitely made us work hard that day! We had dozens and dozens of fish follow the lures to the boat that did not want to eat. The boys were an absolute pleasure to have on the boat, and it was great to see their excitement even though the fish were picky. Every time a fish came to the boat following our lures They were hooting and hollering!I’m so glad we finally got one for them!! Some days it’s that one fish that makes the memories of a lifetime. Thank you so much for the business and the kind words and I am really looking forward to seeing you guys again next summer.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience start to finish with Jason. From the day we booked the trip to when we got off the boat, Jason was timely, informative, and fun. He worked hard to make sure we were comfortable and eagerly provided assistance when needed. The whole time we were on the water he worked hard to put us on the fish and it paid off. We caught multiple big striped bass on a beautiful day on Cape Cod. Jason was a fabulous captain, really looked after us and made sure we had a great time. He was really informed about the area, the environment and an expert on finding where the fish were. If you get the chance for a day on Got Stryper - go for it!!
