FV Odysea welcomes you for a fun-packed day of fishing out of Provincetown, Massachusetts! Come aboard the famous FV Odysea you recently had the opportunity to see on National Geographic's amazing 'Wicked Tuna' show and have a great time fishing the area's bountiful inshore and offshore grounds. You and Captain Ralph will target any species in season, be it big or small. Combine your fishing trip with a boat ride or mammal tour and have a wonderful time fishing in Ma .
Your boat for the day is a nicely kept 32' BHM Downeast, with room for up to 6 anglers. It runs on a 375 HP Caterpillar 3208 engine and uses comprehensive navigation electronics needed for a safe and efficient trip to the fish. There's a shower, bunk as well as a toilet you can use. The boat also features downriggers, a livewell, and an ice-box.
You and the captain will go after Bluefin Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Herring, Striped Bass, as well as Bluefish. You'll attract them by deep sea fishing, trolling, jigging, and even kite fishing. You can keep the fish you catch and take it home.Kids are welcome to come aboard, just tell the captain how many will be coming so he can prepare enough safety jackets.
Capt. Ralph provides you with all the rods for the trip, you may bring your reels and terminal tackle as well. Also, bring something to eat and drink so you stay fit during the trip. The captain also takes care of fishing licenses. Spend a day fishing with FV Odysea and create lovely memories on the water!
Our trips are priced for 4 guests and we are licensed for 6. Additional person $50 per trip for half day trip, $100 for the entire day.
Note: available For sundown cruises, fishing is an option during it .
It's more of a slow boat ride close to dock around the lighthouses and seal colonies, great for conversations contact for details . Fishing for whatever is permitted . Giant Tuna available anytime when fish are within reach of northern side of cape cod

We had a great day on the water with Ralph! This was our first experience fishing on the ocean and Ralph educated us the whole time and was very patient. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The kids and I took turns reeling them in and caught 17 fish in our 4 hours on the water! We drove from Mashpee just to fish with Ralph because of his excellent reviews and he did not disappoint. He even bled and filleted the striped bass that was small enough so that we could cook it that night. It’s a pity that there are such tigh parameters on the size of the fish you can keep because we caught some real beauties! I am so glad that we chose a professional fisherman for our adventure!

Family of four here, and we were able to book the trip on short notice after being canceled on by another Captain due to wind. Captain Ralph is the real deal! We stayed in the bay to avoid the wind, and he had us on Striper almost immediately! Caught our limit along with a nice blue fish before motoring over to locate the seals on the sandbar. Spent the rest of the trip just off the point doing short drifts in shallower water where Captain Ralph put us on some Mackerel to round out the trip. Our 9 and 7 year old sons had a blast, asking lots of questions that Captain Ralph was happy to answer, and with his help they were on there way to being great mates the whole trip!

Capt Ralph was so accomodating to all of our desires….we caught mackeral fish 2 & 3 at a time on same line, seen whales, seen seal pods, then caught Striped bass fish! My granchildren were so happy, and mesmerized by Capt Ralphs guidance on our trip! it was a family Memory that will be told, to other members of the family forever!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Ralph is great, he and the boat nothing fancy but clearly has spent a long time honing his craft. He was great with my kid and even entertained my father in law. Ralph persisted with us to get my kid on fish even though the interest when it came down to it was waning for him. Ralph still managed to get him involved. We had to go to several spots to find anything this early in the season but again, Ralph persisted and we found our target species. Overall a great day, great stories and memories. Highly recommend Ralph for a stellar fishing experience.

Loved it! 75% of the fun is just being out on the water with Capt Ralph! The striped bass weren’t biting and the waters were choppy so he put us onto some mackerel and the kids had a blast! Caught about 2 dozen and Capt showed us how to clean them. So much fun! Will be booking next summer with Capt Ralph again.
