Captain Lawrence Robillard has over 30 years of experience as a commercial fisherman and charter operator. He’s a US Coast Guard 100-Ton Master and an expert in navigating the local fisheries around Kittery, Maine.
He invites you to join him on his 30’ Alan Johnson Downeast boat, equipped with all of the necessary fishing amenities you’ll need for a successful day on the water. This includes a state-of-the-art fishfinder, GPS, radar, VHF radio, safety gear, and fishing tackle. The boat accommodates 5 guests per trip and everyone can fish comfortably at the same time. Capt. Larry also invites children of all ages aboard and he has kids’ sized life jackets available for them.
On shorter trips, you’ll be fishing the Piscataqua River and Great Bay, targeting Stripers, Blues, Redfish, Black Seabass, Mackerel, and more. On full-day trips, you can expect to bottom fish for delicious Haddock, Cod, Pollock, and many more. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to target various Tuna and Shark species as well.
Top-of-the-line Penn fishing gear is available on all of Capt. Larry’s trips. He’ll also offer to clean and fillet your catch so you don’t go home empty-handed. No fishing license is required and everything else you need is provided, including live bait.
Feel free to bring snacks and drinks, including beer (as long as you are over 21), and don’t forget to bring an extra layer of clothing and comfortable shoes. Capt. Larry will make sure you’re trip is comfortable, relaxing, and entertaining so that you can focus on catching as many fish as possible!

Full Day Trip – Deep Sea Fishing on May 26, 2025
Captin Larry knows what he's doing! We did the 8 hour trip, and right after a short saftey briefing, we were heading out into open waters. A little over an hour later, he gave us a quick demonstration on how to use the reels and we were off to the races! We couldn't get them in the boat fast enough! He and his deckhand were super helpful in baiting the hooks, taking fish off the lines, and fileting them while keeping them on ice for us. They answered every question we had about all the fish we were catching and even steered the boat off course so we could get a closer look at some whales playing nearby! A+ service, I even booked my next outing with them before we were even off the boat! Can't wait!

Full Day Trip – Deep Sea Fishing on May 12, 2025
Mother’s Day trip with our family was great. Weather did not allow for us to go Sunday but Captain Lawrence was able to take us out the next day with no problem. Hooked into a lot of fish and got a glimpse at a whale. Captain Lawrence and his mate Baylee were friendly and knowledgeable. Overall great trip.

Epic Striper Outing
Half Day Trip – Inshore (7AM) on July 13, 2024
Caught 11 monster stripers. Most were over 40” and largest was 50”!!!!! Larry has the magic touch. Did a half day inshore charter with a couple friends and Larry’s Sea Time charter. In heavy thick fog, somehow Larry found a school of pogies. There were boils of stripers feeding on them, like nothing I have ever seen in my life. 3 times we had 2 fish on the line at the same time. Eventually many other boats showed up at the same spot one they saw what was going on, but Larry was clearly was the leader. So much fun! It was my second charter with Larry. First time my son caught a 46”. I actually have my own boat in Kittery but I’ve done charters with Larry so I can learn how to fish the local waters from him. He’s an entertaining guy, with a lot of local knowledge, and is happy to teach if you are interested. I’d highly recommend Larry and Sea Charters.

Overall it was an awesome day! We went offshore and caught plenty of haddock and cusk. We were blessed by a pod of humpback whales who swam by and hung out for a while. We were close enough to hear them talking…maybe they were telling us to leave some fish for them haha 😆
