Captain Lawrence Robillard has over 40 years of experience as a commercial fisherman and charter operator. He’s a US Coast Guard 100-Ton Master/Registered MAINE GUIDE and an expert in navigating the local fisheries around Kittery, Maine.
On shorter trips, you’ll be fishing the Piscataqua River and Great Bay, targeting Stripers, Blues, Redfish, Black Seabass, Mackerel, and more. On full-day trips, you can expect to bottom fish for delicious Haddock, Cod, Pollock, and many more. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to target various Tuna and Shark species as well.
Top-of-the-line Penn fishing gear is available on all of Capt. Larry’s trips. He’ll also offer to clean and fillet your catch so you don’t go home empty-handed. No fishing license is required and everything else you need is provided, including live bait that you will catch yourself.
Feel free to bring snacks and drinks, including beer (as long as you are over 21), and don’t forget to bring an extra layer of clothing and comfortable shoes. Capt. Larry will make sure you’re trip is comfortable, relaxing, and entertaining so that you can focus on catching as many fish as possible!

Captain Kai was fantastic! We brought two 7-year-old boys with us, and he was incredibly patient, encouraging, and made sure they stayed engaged and excited the entire trip. We caught a ton of mackerel, had constant action, and everyone had an absolute blast. If you're looking for a fun, family-friendly fishing charter, we highly recommend Captain Kai and this outfit. We'll definitely be back!

Captain Larry and Bailey were Amazing. We were on fish the entire day and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Captain Larry is a wealth of knowledge not only on how and where to fish, but on the history of the local area. My grandsons and their friends had a lot of fun catching mackerel as the bait for the stripers but after spending about 3 1/2 hours trying to find the stripers, we were unsuccessful. The captain said the water was too warm, but that confused us because he kept going to shallow areas for the bass. Anyway, captain and crew were very nice and overall, we all had a good day!
So we fished the beachfront. then deepwater in the river 60 ft then the coves were we lost several fish. Seems as though the shallows were where the fish were bitung. Thanks for coming.
Capt. Larry and his 1st mate were excellent. Weather did ‘t cooperate but Capt. Larry stupl made the experience a great guys trip!
