We had an absolutely incredible experience with Adventure and Catch Charters! Captain Andy was truly outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind. You can tell he takes great pride in what he does, and he made the entire trip both fun and informative from start to finish. His first mate, Alex, was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Together, they made such a great team and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere for everyone on board. If you’re looking for a top-notch charter experience with a crew that goes above and beyond, I can’t recommend Adventure and Catch Charters enough. We will definitely be back!
I’m from MD and searched for a trip up north for Cod, Haddock and Pollock. Capt Andy was the first of several captains I reached out to that responded. Gave great insight on best time to achieve my goal and we set a date six months out. Gave me weather conditions and worst case scenario option if we needed to reschedule with two hurricanes swirling in the Atlantic. Weather was perfect and the original date confirmed. Unexpected engine trouble tried to end our journey as we hit the open water but our Capt Andy fearlessly went down into that engine and fixed everything himself so we could continue to the fishing grounds. He fished hard to put us over the catch and moved quickly on from any dormant spot. Capt Andy filleted and bagged our catch so that we were fish fry ready. Although our undersized Cod was released, the unexpected Cusk catches definitely made up for it. Awesome day on the water where I added 6 new species to my personal list of fish caught. Capt Andy also recommend an awesome spot for a fresh lobster dinner to hit up when we came off the water. Definitely will be making that 8 hour drive up to do it again.
Started with the captain greeting us at the boat while he was finishing cleaning the lines and equipment making sure everything was ready. The captain went over safety and where everything was located. The whole trip was enjoyable and educational on what to expect and how to use the gear. He knew where to go so we could be successful and have fun. Definitely a great captain.

Had a great time fishing on the all day today. The tuna didnt cooperate but we got some Haddock, cusk, redfish and Mackeral. We also saw some dolphins, a whale, and a sunfish. Captain kept us busy and we didnt sit on any one dead spot too long. Overall great day.
Captain Andy put us on the fish, together between my dad and I we easily caught about 100 fish. We would definitely love to fish with Andy again. Thank you so much for such an amazing day fishing!

Captain Andy is a USCG OUPV 25 ton Captain with Inshore & Offshore Masters endorsement who has been fishing his whole life. Having grown up originally in New York, he began fishing with his father in Moriches Bay, Sheepshead Bay, off the shore in Rockaway, NY and with his Father In-Law, Paul, off Montauk Point. At 26, the Captain moved to New Hampshire and began fishing its many lakes and rivers for anything that moved in the water. Since moving to the Seacoast area, some 22 years ago, he began fishing in-shore and off-shore. His passion for the ocean and its beauty is obvious. Given the chance, he would stay out on the water where new sights, sounds, and excitement can always be found. His first priority is always safety and security of his passengers and his vessel. Further, the Adventure and Catch is both OUPV charter and commercially inspected to meet all water and boat safety criteria. In addition, Captain Andy is also a certified boat safety drill instructor The Adventure and Catch is a 31′ down east style boat with a pilot house and cuddy cabin to get out of the weather and has a full marine head (Bathroom). It is powered by Yanmar Diesel Engine and the boat is maintained by Dover Marina. Currently, she is docked at Great Bay Marina, slip – D42. Her cruising speed is 20-22 knots on a calm day and 18 knots with some 'chop'. So getting out to the fishing grounds is fast and smooth.
