Dauphin Island has a fish with your name on it, so let Foster Inshore Fishing Charters help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Darrell is prepared to put you on fish.

Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail, and more inhabit these waters if you come at the right time of year.

Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks!

You'll be casting lines from a 24' Kenner center console with space for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Fantastic time in less than optimal conditions
4 Hour Trip (PM) on November 29, 20254 adults

We booked this fishing trip last minute as other charters were cancelling trips due to bad weather/wind. Darrell was communicative with us until the time of the trip and worked through any of the issues like limited live bait or wind and waves. Once we were in the boat and heading out, he got us to a great redfish spot and we limited out! This was shocking since we basically didn't expect to be able to go out fishing at all. I would highly recommend Darrell for any fishing trip - we are planning a follow up trip next summer due to how great of a time we had and how knowledgeable Darrell was.

August fishing trip
4 Hour Trip (PM) on August 6, 20252 adults2 children

Had a great time on the water even though the fish weren't biting a lot. Darrell did an awesome job of making sure we caught a few! Very knowledgeable and had patience with my 2 daughters that don't have much experience. Great first time on the water for them

Great Time!
4 Hour Trip (PM) on August 5, 20254 adults

My family had a great time with Captain Darrell! Even with a small rain delay, he made sure they were able to snag some fish and let them stay out a little longer to make up for the time missed. I would definitely recommend booking a fishing charter with Foster Fishing Charter!
