Billy D Charters invites you to spend a day on the prolific waters of Lake Erie, catch your limit of fish, and make some beautiful memories! Captain Dean Northcutt has been running charters out of Port Clinton for 30 years, and he built a successful career on his dedication to his customers' satisfaction.
Join him on his 30' Baha boat with a 350 HP Mercruiser engine and Capt. Dean will go out of his way to show you to the best fishing hideouts. The vessel can sit up to 6 anglers and is equipped with reliable navigational electronics that will make sure you stay on the fish's tail. There's a private toilet on board, so you'll be fishing in comfort even on full day trips.
Your guide will also provide quality fishing equipment for you, live bait and an assortment of lures. Bear in mind that live bait is included in the price on the Walleye and Perch outings, and there's an additional charge for it if you're going after Bass.
Capt. Dean offers specialized trips where you'll focus on one species, whether it's Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, or Yellow and White Perch. Pick between half day and full day expeditions, choose your prey of preference, and your fishing jaunt can begin. To prepare for your adventure, buy a fishing license, and bring drinks, snacks, and lunch.

Captain Dean and first mate John made our first walleye fishing trip to lake erie an exceptional experience. Well worth the 9 hour drive up from north carolina! They were extremely professional and knowledgeable of the lake and the targeted species and also very family friendly. The kids had just as good of a time as we did and were made to feel very welcome on the boat. All 6 in our party HIGHLY RECOMMEND Billy D Charters for your walleye experience. Our first day out we were only 5 short of a four man limit and the second day we came in with our full limit. We will use Captain Dean again for our next trip! Thanks Captain Dean and first mate John, Randy, Toyee, Daniel, Faith, Easton, Eliza, and Eli.

We were running a little late and he was very understanding. Waited for us at the dock very nice very professional took care of us very well made sure we were on the fish and caught as many as we could was more than happy.

Captain Dean has 37 years experience, and knows Lake Erie like the back of his hand. My wife and I took our 3 grandchildren to celebrate my 18-year-old grandsons high school graduation. Captain Dean gave us fishing instructions and waited on us, be it a tangle in a line or netting of a fish. He supplies you with all the equipment you need. We caught about 14 Walleye’s and other species. I would highly recommend Dean to anyone seeking a good fishing experience on Lake Erie.

I've been fishing for more than 50 years, and I got my captain's license 30 years ago.
