Oregon Adventures Guide Service – Newport
Spend the day with Oregon Adventures Guide Service and get hooked on fishing in Newport!
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Crab, Lingcod, Rockfish, Halibut, Brown Trout, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more with any luck. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Sean also offers fly fishing.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Sean operates a 23’ Alumaweld boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Oregon Adventures Guide Service!
