Megacatch has some of the best fishermen in the area who know the best fishing spots in Papagayo Gulf. They are at your service year-round, so anytime you decide to go fishing, they will be ready! Your adventure starts at Playa Del Coco, but get in touch if you need a pick up from another place.
The crew welcomes you to their 29' Fiberglass boat. She can accommodate up to 5 guests, where 4 of you can fish at the same time. The boat has a private toilet, flybridge, a fighting chair, a live bait tank, and lots of other features that will make your ride more comfortable and your fishing successful.
Depending on which trip you choose, you can target Marlin, Sailfish, Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, or Tuna. These species are very fast and hard-fighting, so you'll definitely experience great rod-bending action if you encounter them. For those interested in something calmer, target Groupers and other species closer to the shore.
Some species, such as Roosterfish, have to be released. The ones you can keep will be cleaned and filleted for you after the trip.
The crew will cover your fishing equipment, lures, baits, and also your drinks and snacks for the day. Longer trips will usually have a wider range of beverages and food prepared. Shorter trips are family-friendly and kids need to be at least 5 years old.

this crew was amazing we tried to get sail fish first had a couple of bites but nothing. Then we went for the deep sea fish and absolutely slayed them. i dont know how these guys do this all day that was a lot of work reeling in fish from 350 feet deep. lots of laughs and a great time. if this is your first time be reaby for motion sickness i usually dont have this problem but by the end i was definitely feeling it
The crew delivered on my goal of making it a great experience for my son and catching a trophy Sail Fish! Lester was our captin and is a pro! Thank you!

We had a wonderful 1/2 - Day fishing trip with a great crew on a clean boat. Besides several Red Snapper we were able to catch a nice Jack Crevalle and a small Tuna. On top of all we happened to come across a family of humpback whales. I would definitely recommend this charter!
Our captain and sailor did a great job of finding us the best spots to fish. They were extremely helpful with baiting, casting, and providing all equipment necessary! We were able to take our fish to a restaurant and they cooked it for us! Highly recommended this trip for fishing all different kinds of fish both to use as bait and ones to eat!
