These waters are known for Great Barracuda, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, African Pompano Jack, Jack Crevalle, Roosterfish, Sailfish, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!" On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish.

You can keep any fish you catch, so long as regulations allow it. Capt. Juan Carlos can even clean your catch for you. How's that for fresh seafood?

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea for a boost of energy when needed!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 31' fishing boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
