Alaska King Fishing
Join Alaska King Fishing for your fishing adventure on the Kenai and Kasilof rivers. Exploring these waters is guaranteed to help you make some lifelong memories. Whether you leave with a 50 lb Chinook Salmon, or some smaller Sockeye Salmon, guide Wyatt Ruff will make sure you have fun.
Guide Wyatt has over 500 trips under his belt, so he has the ability and knowledge to take you where the fish are depending on the season. You can visit these rivers from June to September, and there is always something to target.
You'll come aboard his 21' Fishrite aluminum boat which takes up to 5 people who can fish at the same time. The experience of your guide makes up for any navigational equipment, giving you an authentic experience on the water.
All the fishing gear will be on board, including St. Croix rods and Shimano reels. You'll need to get a fishing license, which you can do online. If you choose to keep your catch, your guide will be happy to clean it for you, so you can enjoy a tasty dinner after a fun day on the water!
Kids are always welcome on the boat, and you'll find life jackets for everyone on board. There's plenty of storage as well, so you don't have to worry about getting your catch back to shore!
If you join Wyatt in June and July, you'll be targeting King Salmon (Chinook), in which case you need a King stamp on top of your fishing license. Join anywhere from June to August, and you're in for a treat, targeting the delicious Sockeye Salmon. August and September are reserved for the prized Silver Salmon (Coho).
Make sure to bring some snacks and drinks to stay refreshed, some rain gear, and you're all set. Choose what you're most interested in, and get on board for a great Alaskan fishing adventure!

I booked 6 hours but only needed 4 to limit out with Sockeyes. We had to switch from Kings because they were spotty and was changed to catch and release, so Wyatt put us on the Sockeyes and we all had a great time.

Thank you! Hope to see you all again!
Great day of excellent guiding and good conversation. Thanks!!

Thank you!

Wyatt has been guiding for 6 years, but fishing for much longer. He's technically not a local, as he lives and fishes in Alaska in the summer months only, but he's an experienced guy. With over 500 guide trips, he knows all the best places for fishing in these rivers. He is all about his customers experiencing a trip of their lifetime, leaving happy and returning gladly.
