Miguel Martinez.

Capt. Miguel has spent all of his life living near the ocean, so he developed a love for being out on the water at a very early age. He's been exploring the waters of Costa Rica and Panama since 2012, and decided to settle down and run his own charter company here in Playas del Coco in 2015. He provides a variety of inshore, nearshore, and offshore angling adventures that are suitable for guests of all skill levels.

You'll be fishing from Capt. Miguel's 27' vessell, built in 2018 and capable of accommodating up to 5 guests. She's the perfect option for groups of angling buddies who want to cast off together! Want to make this an unforgettable family vacation? Children are more than welcome aboard – just make sure they're age 5 and above.

Your vessel is decked out with top-quality navigational and safety gear, as well as life jackets for all ages. There's a private toilet on board, too, so even if you opt for a full day trip, you'll be traveling in plenty of comfort. There are also 2 onboard fridges, so you can store your catch and keep your food and drinks fresh at the same time.

Depending on the trip you choose, you'll either spend your whole adventure casting your line with Capt. Miguel, or can choose to mix up your angling with some swimming and snorkeling.

Your target species include hard-fighting monsters of the deep such as Marlin, Sailfish, and Mahi Mahi, tasty Snapper species, and feisty Barracuda and Wahoo. You'll get to try out a variety of techniques, mainly trolling and bottom fishing.
