Captain Kevin Hunnicutt has been fishing the area his whole life as a hobby and realized it’s time to do it all the time. Now, he’s able to do what he loves the most every day and share his passion with other people. You don’t need to be experienced to join him, you just need to love new experiences!
Aboard Capt. Kevin’s 33’ Blackfin Combi sportfishing vessel. She is equipped for the job, and is capable of long bluewater runs for the hard core fisherman. It’s durable design offers a smooth dry ride even in tough conditions and offers comfortable fishing for up to six passengers. To make full day trips enjoyable, the boat features a private toilet, a cabin with A/C, and lots of seating space.
With Capt. Kevin you can only get a full day trip…and then some more. His packages range from 8–14 hours and let you go up to 60–100 miles offshore. Your catches on these trips are different types of Billfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Barracuda, and more. If you decide to stay closer to the shore, you’ll be able to catch Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Grouper, Snapper, Amberjack, and Triggerfish.
If you’re looking for a completely different type of fishing, Capt. Kevin has got you covered. You can rent scuba spearfishing equipment for an extra price and catch fish at the wrecks. In order to try this out, you need to be a certified diver.
Your license, rods, and reels are fully covered. You’ll catch live bait during the trip. There’s also a fish cleaning service, which usually costs $2 per fish.
