Lady L Charters specializes in fishing for trophy Striped Bass and have been doing so for the last 30 years. They'll adapt the trip to best serve your needs. So go for the fast-paced action and chase trophies or relax in nature while fishing the popular spots.
Lady L is one of Staten Island's finest fishing boats and has been for the last 40 years. It's fishing as it should be aboard this sea-hardened vessel. She's a 33' Blackfin sport fisher powered by twin 430 HP Cummins engines. On board, you'll find all the electronic and safety equipment you could think of. The boat also has epirb. Captain Rudy has been a professional fisherman most of his life and his boat reflects that.
Up to 6 anglers can join all charter trips, including any kids ages 4 and older. All guests are able to fish at the same time. Fishing tackle, artificial lures, and live bait are all covered by the charter. You may still bring your gear if you'd like to fish with the equipment you're familiar with. Also included in the price is your fishing license so no need to worry about getting one before the trip.
The charter built its name on catching giant Striped Bass and you'll be able to be a part of this tradition. If you chose to, you can also try your hand at bottom fishing or jigging and target Black Seabass and Fluke.
The only things you should remember to bring with you are food and drinks. Also, remember to dress for the season you're fishing in.

Caught 3 monster strippers and one keeper! Had a blast hunting different spots and hanging on the water. Captain Rudy and his first mate Gene were amazing, they made it a better day than we expected. My whole group is looking forward to going again!
This was a day that was planned for the guys to fish,but more important bond with each other. The day started out slow but when it picked up we had a great time. Watching the young guys reel in the fish was hilarious until they got the hang of it. Being on the boat was very relaxing.The guys had a good time.Captain Rudy and the First mate were diligent about us finding fish and enjoying ourselves. If it weren't for them searching around we may have not caught any fish. Thanks guys for making the trip special. By the way the family loved the Blue fish. Peace!!!

Your captain

Capt. Rudy has been fishing for over 50 years. He has been tied to fishing professionally for most of his life. He worked as a commercial Striped Bass fisherman in the 60s and 70s and got his captain's license in 1990. A Brooklyn native, he has a vast knowledge of the local fishery and is able to put his clients on the fish at any time of the year.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
