Capt. Joe has been fishing the waters of Western New York for his entire life, so he knows exactly where to take you to target huge King Salmon or tasty Trout. He’s equally at home whether he’s guiding experienced anglers or newbies, and warmly welcomes families with little ones age 7 and up to come aboard. No matter your skill level, you can expect to try out a variety of techniques to hook your catch and will leave feeling like a real pro.

You’ll be fishing from your captain’s 21’ Warrior aluminum vessel, perfectly built to cruise these winding waters. Up to 4 guests can come aboard, and you’ll all be able to fish at the same time. The vessel is decked out with navigational and safety equipment, including life jackets for all ages, a live bait well, and a wireless trolling motor. This will come in handy when you want to sneak up on your catch without spooking the fish!

Capt. Joe will usually have you fishing for a whole host of famous freshwater species, with the top targets being Lake and Brown Trout, Chinook and Coho Salmon, and Steelhead. You’ll have the opportunity to use a wide range of techniques, with your captain especially enjoying trolling, jigging, and sight casting with light tackle. You’ll be provided with rods, reels, live bait, lures, and complementary catch cleaning. All you need to do is purchase a valid NY fishing license, bring your favorite snacks and drinks, and get ready to cast off with Angler’s Obsession Charters!
