Frenzy Guide Service
Frenzy Guide Service is calling your name for an exciting fishing adventure in the world-renowned waters of Galveston Bay. Come aboard and target a range of tough-fighting and delicious fish year-round, as you bottom fish from the boat, or hop in and try wading!
Your local guide, Captain Chris Reeves, promises to take you to all the sweet spots. An avid angler since childhood, he was fortunate enough to travel the country while in the military, going fishing at every opportunity. He's perfected his skills over the course of a lifetime, and can't wait to give you a helping hand to fill the boat.
The 25' Robalo center console was built for fishing these shallow fishing grounds. Light and with a shallow hull, she'll get you to the skinniest of waters with ease. Up to 4 guests are welcome aboard to fish from deck, while the captain can accompany 5 if you'd like to try wading. Just get in touch with him and he'll charge an extra $50 for the extra person.
Whether you're a beginner or a pro, there's something for you in these rich waters, and Capt. Chris is more than happy to show you around. Come aboard for 5 hours or the whole day long, and get your fish on against beauties like Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Trout, Snappers, and many more.
In fall, you'll even have the chance to specifically target Flounder. These delicious creatures are famed all over the Gulf coast and beyond for their meat, so come and make the most of it and catch enough fish to fill the freezer for weeks to come!
You'll spend most of the day testing your bottom fishing skills as you jig along the sea bed to attract the bite of these beauties. But Capt. Chris can also provide popping corks if you'd like to mix it up a bit.
He'll also clean and fillet your catch at the end of your trip, so there's not much left for you to do! Grab your Texas fishing license, bring some drinks and snacks aboard, and settle in for a trip to remember with Frenzy Guide Service!

We fished on the coattails of tropical storm Alberto. Bays were trashy, and the fishing hard. Captain Mark lacked not try nor conversation. Mark shared great information on the bay, and kept us moving to find the fish. We ended up catching two limits of trout when most other captains had called it & offered refunds before the fishing even started. We will be booking with Captain Chris and/ Capitan Mark again.
Captain Chris Reeves put us on the fish at first stop. We had 8 keeper speckled trout in the boat in about 30 minutes. We have been coming to Galveston for the past 27 years for a family vacation. My daughter and son started going on guided fishing trips over the years. This is our second trip with Captain Reeves, very professional in all aspects. We will absolutely 💯 be booking another fishing 🎣 trip !

Had a great guide, got us on to the spot with good fishing, unfortunate about the currents, we caught plenty of fish just not many of legal size.
Great guide. I’d recommend him anytime
Capt. Chris has been fishing on Galveston bay since early childhood. His family has a long history commercial and recreational fishing these waters, which has given him a wealth of experience fishing for the different species our Galveston Bay system and near shore waters have to offer. Chris has a love for angling – a passion his father instilled in him at a very young age. He has been fortunate to travel to many places targeting a variety of fish species during his 10 years in the Navy as well as personal travels since his transition back to civilian life. He has had the opportunity to chase Bonefish on the flats in the Hawaiian Islands, Snook in the mangroves of the Florida Keys, Tarpon on the rivers of Costa Rica, Rainbow Trout and Salmon in Western Alaska, and many others. Interestingly, the techniques employed for catching fish all over the world are not all that different than here in our local waters but have helped Chris sharpen his instincts for finding fish.
