We had an absolute blast ice fishing, and a huge part of that was our guide, Elijah. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely fun to be around. He explained everything clearly, made sure everyone was comfortable, and kept the experience exciting from start to finish. Whether you’re brand new or have some experience, Elijah knows how to make the day both successful and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This guided fishing trip was different in ways I’d never thought possible. First…..the kayak. My eyes filled with tears doubting my ability to fish and to be able to stay topside. AJ offered encouragement saying he’d support whatever I decided. With his positive outlook I accepted the challenge. I’m so very thankful that I did. Catching my first pike, taking a photo and releasing was amazing. AJ is patient in his instructions and offering assistance. He’s knowledgeable and efficient. In my opinion he is a great teacher, devoted husband and father. AJ has overcome challenges and from those challenges he has chosen to help others. He has dedicated himself in helping fellow veterans. Fishing isn’t always just about catching fish

We had the best time with AJ and Kevin. We had weather that came in last minute & AJ text me right away that morning to see what we were able to do to make our trip happen. We moved and got the best weather of our trip! We can’t say enough great things about the experience, AJ & Kevin were amazing it was like fishing with old friends, plus they new the best spots for fish! We could not have asked for a better trip caught some nice big fish and my son will be telling stories about the other huge ones he lost for years ?. We would definitely recommend Battle Fish Charters and would definitely go again!

Our family had a wonderful kayack trip with AJ and Edwin It was a fun time for our boys and they were super knowledgable of the area and where the fish were They were also very patient and taught our boys how to fish with different tackle

This was my first time fishing on a kayak. It was very stable and I was even able to stand up a few times. We had several Lure choices to go with starting with top water. The explosions work excellent on a bite then we switch to drop shots and finally onto a wacky worm. We had quality equipment and excellent guides which led us to catching lots of fish. My cousin caught the big one of the day but I caught more. Thanks to Mike and AJ for a wonderful day. Allen

I met Marty at the launch and he had everything ready and waiting. Local knowledge helped alot and i was able to get a few small bass. Only a 4 hour trip but had some great conversations and amazing views on the lake and would highly recommend using battlefish for your next guided trip!

My son and I had a FANTASTIC evening with Battlefish. Our boat and equipment were top notch and our guide? I’m not sure I’ve ever met a more knowledgeable, patient fisherman. It was a windy evening immediately following a wild cold front. Due to that the fish just weren’t hitting but we tried a number of locations on the lake using lure after lure until we found something that would entice them and once we did, game on! We caught a couple bass and numerous northern pike. Moreso than the fish caught, my son came away happy with a LOT of knowledge about where to find good spots, fishing setups, lures, how to use them and such. That alone is worth the time spent and seeing his happiness during and after our evening was worth every penny of cost. Thanks guys!

My son is loves fishing and Matt was able to give him tips and was encouraging. Matt was very accommodating as well as personable.

Andrew was a great person and a fun guy to spend a day with. He was helpful, and complimentary to a beginner fly fisherman. He explained things well. He was patient and didn’t press us. He’s a skilled person and a veteran and an all around great guy.
