Battle Fish Charters is a registered Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Owned and operated by retired army paratrooper Andrew Beaudoin, the charter specializes in giving its customers the opportunity to battle the toughest mountain fish the Adirondacks have to offer.
Depending on the length of the trip and the species you're targeting, this adventure will take you exploring various local lakes such as Lake Flower, Oseetah Lake, Upper, and Lower Saranac Lake, and Kiwassa Lake.
You'll be fishing from 14' Jackson Big Rig kayaks. Up to 12 guests can join in on all trips and fish together the whole time. The kayaks are stable, making it possible to even stand up and fish. They also feature plenty of storage room, so you'll have everything you need for a fun and productive trip right at your fingertips. There's also a Radisson canoe that's great for smaller children.
Andrew has also been named cub master of the year and loves bringing the young ones along on his trips. He enjoys teaching kids how to fish since that's what initially drew him to guiding fishing trips in the first place. The minimum age for kids is 4 and appropriate life jackets will be provided.
All the gear you'll need to fish will be provided on the trip. You'll be equipped with world-class Shimano and St. Croix rods, Daiwa and Samwick reels, and a variety of bait and lures to give you the best shot at the species you're targeting.
All you should bring is food, drinks, and a valid fishing license. Also, remember to dress for the weather. On the day of your trip, show up at the meetup spot 15 minutes ahead of time. Free parking will be available.
Now if you already have a date in mind for your adventure in the Adirondacks, check the guide's calendar for openings and book your trip today!

We had an absolute blast ice fishing, and a huge part of that was our guide, Elijah. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely fun to be around. He explained everything clearly, made sure everyone was comfortable, and kept the experience exciting from start to finish. Whether you’re brand new or have some experience, Elijah knows how to make the day both successful and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
This is the second time we have gone on the water with AJ. Highly recommend

This guided fishing trip was different in ways I’d never thought possible. First…..the kayak. My eyes filled with tears doubting my ability to fish and to be able to stay topside. AJ offered encouragement saying he’d support whatever I decided. With his positive outlook I accepted the challenge. I’m so very thankful that I did. Catching my first pike, taking a photo and releasing was amazing. AJ is patient in his instructions and offering assistance. He’s knowledgeable and efficient. In my opinion he is a great teacher, devoted husband and father. AJ has overcome challenges and from those challenges he has chosen to help others. He has dedicated himself in helping fellow veterans. Fishing isn’t always just about catching fish
We had the best time with AJ and Kevin. We had weather that came in last minute & AJ text me right away that morning to see what we were able to do to make our trip happen. We moved and got the best weather of our trip! We can’t say enough great things about the experience, AJ & Kevin were amazing it was like fishing with old friends, plus they new the best spots for fish! We could not have asked for a better trip caught some nice big fish and my son will be telling stories about the other huge ones he lost for years ?. We would definitely recommend Battle Fish Charters and would definitely go again!
I would highly recommend Battle Fish Charters. My wife and I had a great experience kayaking, casting, and catching fish on Lake Flower and adjacent lakes. Having Andrew as guide was awesome because he knows the good fishing spots and we were new to fishing in the area plus, he is great to chat with. I found his business model inspiring and deserving of another visit. Next time we are in the Adirondacks we will book again!
