With over 40 years of experience fishing the local waters and over 20 years being a captain, he is a great choice for any group wanting to experience Destin Fishing to its fullest!
You will spend the trip aboard the captain's newly restored, 23' SeaPro center console, powered by a 200 HP Yamaha outboard. It has the maximum capacity of 4 guests and, deepening on the weather, fishing technique, and targeted species, between 2 and 4 of them can fish at the same time. The boat features navigation and fish finding electronics, wireless trolling motor, a live bait tank, and all the necessary safety equipment.
Fishing equipment and everything else you need to fish will be provided by the captain. You'll be using top-notch Penn rod and reel combos, the chatter will cover the daily fishing license, and live bait. Depending on the season and bait itself, live bait may carry an additional cost. This will be arranged with the captain ahead of the trip.
There is no minimum age for kids. However, the captain typically recommends that kids joining in on the trips be at least 4 years old. Life jackets are provided for kids 6 and up and parents need to bring appropriate life jackets for kids younger than that. Small kids have to be under parental supervision.
Water, ice, and a cooler for food and drinks are also provided on board. Customers should pack food, drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a cooler for the catch. Also, dress for the season you're fishing in.
