Gerry's Private Charters invites you to fish the abundant waters of the North Coast of Mahe Island. If you are looking for a day on the water with a courteous and professional crew, you have found the right place.
You will be fishing aboard the 'Kreole Kiss,' a 34' fishing vessel. She is a spacious fishing machine with plenty of space for up to 6 anglers. Overhauled in 2016, she comes powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha 4-stroke InLine 4-cylinder engines. She can get you to the fishing grounds quickly and safely!
The team has tailored a variety of fishing packages that can meet any angler's needs. Explore the coastal waters on a short half-day trip, targeting Seabream and other species that patrol the inshore grounds.
If you are up to a challenge and would like to hone your angling skills and try your hand at various fishing techniques, let the crew take you offshore. Go for the traditional handling trolling techniques, use hooks and sinkers, try bottom fishing, chumming, and deep sea fishing. If jigging or popping sounds more like something you would do, just let the crew know and bring your own gear with you. The opportunities are limitless!
The list of your potential catches includes various types of Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Grouper, Giant Trevally, Sailfish, Blue and Black Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and who knows what else?
All breeds of anglers are welcome aboard, and children are especially encouraged to join in the fun. Penn reels and tackle, a selection of lures, drinks, and fishing licenses are provided on each trip, while lunch is available on the full-day charters. Accommodation can also be arranged by the charter company.

We were really lucky with the weather and the fishing that day! Everything was perfectly organized — we went out on a beautiful boat with a great crew, both super friendly and funny. We started the trip with some trolling and got incredibly lucky, catching some giant wahoo near the outer reefs. While we were fishing, the crew prepared some delicious snacks — cold cuts, sandwiches, and even roasted chicken. Later, during some jigging, we caught a few smaller snappers and groupers, plus four really big ones! On the way back, we even caught a few bonitos and two more wahoo. It was honestly one of the best fishing experiences of my life. Huge thanks to the team — I'd definitely do it again!

Billy and dada were amazing! They did their best for us to catch fish! They were informative, fun and didnt hesitate to answer our 1000 questions about fishing haha! Highly recommended!!!! Best trip ever.

We had a very nice experience with Billy and crew! We catch 3 yellow tuna and 3 bonito with a excellent views of the island. I recommend to try luck and go for the big ones!

We did bottom fishing half day. We started with jigging, but it didn't work so Capt switched to the live bait. Live bait works very well. Every time once we dropped the bait the fish bites immediately. Every time after two or three drops the Capt changed the reefs to catch more fish. We got many groupers and snappers.

I grew up on the Beau Vallon Beach. On school holidays, I went to help the fishermen pull in the fishing nets very early in the morning and also I was very interested in water sports. And in the early '70's, I was one of the first local boys to be a waterski instructor and paragliding boat operator. In 1981, I bought my first boat and have been providing private charters since then.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
