For all the bottom fishing lovers, Puerto Peñasco is the place to be! Join Eduardo’s Sport Fishing for your chance to explore the Gulf of California. Captain Eduardo Quiroz Valenzuela will make sure you have a great trip you will remember!

His 27’ center console Panga boat can accommodate up to 8 people, so it’s a great family boat. It’s powered by a 150 HP Yamaha 4-stroke engine, as well as a 25 HP Yamaha kicker. It’s equipped with the latest electronics to help you catch some great fish. If you want to bring some food and drinks, Capt. Eduardo can bring ice and a cooler on board.

You’ll be fishing using Penn rods and reels, which will be waiting for you on board. The captain uses artificial lures, not live bait. He’ll clean your catch most of the time. If not, you can get it cleaned after the trip in exchange for tips.

Explore these beautiful waters while bottom fishing for creatures like California Corbina, Seabass, and Triggerfish. Choose your trip depending on how far offshore you want to go. These fish are great to target in the morning, since it’s when they bite most.

Feel free to bring your kids with you, since children of all ages are welcome. Capt. Eduardo will provide life jackets of all sizes, so their safety is guaranteed. You can enjoy some family time on the water and create some memorable moments.

Eduardo is the captain and the boat owner of Eduardo's Sport Fishing. He is from San Felipe, but has been living in Puerto PeƱasco for the last 40 years. He has been fishing for 20 years with a license. He loves spending time on the water, and especially bringing smiles to his customers' faces. His favorite part of the job is the satisfaction that he gets when his customers leave happy. He speaks basic English (only fishing related) and Spanish.
