Reel Life Sport Fishing 

It was windy and choppy so we couldn’t go very far out but Saul persisted and got us onto some great fishing. We caught lots of triggers and Corvina. It was a great experience for one of our group who had never fished before. Saul filleted and packed everything amd helped us with getting it frozen and had good advice on where to go to get some cooked for us.

Kids and i had a ton of fun, Saul was a great captain and we caught a ton of fish. We’ll book with him again on our next trip

Saul was a great captain that put us on the fish from the very beginning. We got off the boat with over 20lbs of fish. He even suggested a local restaurant to prepare our catch for us. The restaurant made our fish 3 different ways and each way was fantastic. We will be using Saul again.

Convincing my wife and friends to go fishing was a task alone. CAPTAIN SAUL! made it an incredible experience getting us on fish. So courteous and determined to get us in the right spot, catch more fish than we ever have. Captain Saul I cant thank you enough!

Our trip took place on October 1st with Saul, who communicated very well in English. The boat included basic amenities like shade and a restroom, providing adequate space for our group of three passengers and Saul. While the boat itself was unremarkable, Saul provided excellent service by continuously baiting our hooks and filleting our catch at the end. Our four-hour excursion departed at 3:00 PM and required approximately a fifteen-minute journey from the harbor to the fishing spot, where we successfully landed around thirty triggerfish.

Captain Saul was a fantastic fishing guide with tons of experience. He told stories and his experiences on the sea. As we are beginners in the fishing game, the Captain showed us how to cast and the finer points of reeling in the big catch. My wife and I were totally satisfied with this excursion. Would recommend him all day every day.

The boat was OK, depending on what you’re used to. No fish finder so we were “flying blind”. The trip was rescheduled from an 8AM trip to 7AM which only gave us about 40 min to fish the still tide (12:03PM starting time) instead of 1 hour and 40 min. We were finally getting interest on the live bait but had to go. Being prepared with tide times and adjusting a 6hour trip to maximize one’s chances to catch a nice fish should be a minimum. A fish finder should be standard, this is 2025. I don’t think there was a gaff on the boat which would have made bringing a 50lb grouper (if we had caught one) har to bring onboard. Maybe I’m wrong but I looked around and didn’t see one. So it was an OK trip. We went to the spot where the bigger fish can usually be found but a fish finder would have confirmed or denied their presence. We could have perhaps moved to different spots The captain is a good guy. Friendly and he filled our catch (just a bunch of 3lb corvinas yesterday 4/20/25)

An amazing experience with Captain Saul from start to finish! Rocky Point offers lots of fishing options and we knew we picked the right one from the start! Communication was prompt and clear. A great well maintained boat with awesome equipment and a captain who was very hands-on and interested in making sure we were happy. We were catching fish within minutes, and when we came back to the pier, everyone was impressed with our catch for the day. The pictures don't do justice to the fish we caught but provide an idea! We will be going back with Saul and will be sharing his info widely!
