If you’ve never considered fishing in Bonaire before, then that’s all about to change with Flying Fish Charters! Captain Brian Boe, the man behind the helm of this charter, prides himself on customer service and top-quality equipment. Each trip can be customized to suit your wishes and Capt. Brian will do whatever it takes to show you a great day on the water.
Your adventure will take place aboard the "Flying Fish," a whopping 42’ offshore sportfishing vessel that’s capable of accommodating up to 10 guests. She’s comfortable, clean, spacious, and decked out with an air-conditioned cabin, a marine head, and a full galley with a refrigerator. Bring along your friends and family and get ready to fish in style!
The Flying Fish also has all the required safety equipment, including a life raft, life jackets, throw rings, engine room fire suppression system, EPIRB, and VHF radio. There’s cooler and refrigerator space on board, which will come in handy for guests that want to take some catch back to land!
When it comes to your adventure, the waters off Bonaire get deep very quickly, which maximizes your fishing time. Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna are often caught just minutes from the dock. You’ll mostly be trolling live baits, dead baits, straight lures, or a combination of lures and baits, and can also sight cast with spinning rods and fly rods. When bottom fishing, you’ll jig or fish baits.
Guests of all ages and angling abilities are welcome aboard, so don’t worry if you’re a newbie to all things fishing-related – your captain will be on hand to show you the ropes. You’ll soon be casting your line like a pro!
Each trip includes top-quality fishing gear, water, soft drinks, and snacks. When you return to the dock, your captain will clean and bag all of the fish you wish to take with you. A Great Experience
Brian and his crew took us out for big game fishing in the deep waters of Bonaire. First we fished the calm waters of the harbor and we landed a bounty of lively bait fish. When another boat came up without baitfish, Brian generously shated some of what we caught and both boats went off for fishing. The setup for Sailfish is elaborate and the crew knew exactly what to do. We saw flying fish, frigate birds and trolled the fishing grounds. Unfortunately we were only visited by one sailfish ( which we did not hookup). Afterward we fished the calm waters at the National Park for Triggerfish and Red Snapper while eating sandwiches, fresh fruit, and chips. Alas, we would not go home empty handed! On the cruise home the local Boobies feasted on the flying fish the boat stirred up. Thanks Brian for treating us like Pros. We have seen the lifestyle, thanks for sharing the boat the gear and your knowledge at a reasonable price.

Brian & Mike made my birthday!
Had the most amazing time with Brian and first mate Mike. The boat was set up with everything I could ask for, we chatted about what I was hoping to get from the day and got to it. Throughout the day there were pointers and advice when I asked for it. I learned a huge amount, caught some beautiful fish and felt incredibly well cared for. Would wholeheartedly recommend Brian, his boat and crew to anyone visiting the island.

What a Merry Christmas! We loved it
Brian and his crew were amazing. They were so hospitable and accommodating. We came to Bonaire on a cruise- Christmas Day! Of our family of five, 3 were going deep sea fishing for the first time. The boat was loaded with refreshments- even a special Christmas bread. John explained everything he was doing with the bait and tackle to attract different types of fish, and also pointed out interesting facts about Bonaire. We loved the PA connection.In our 4 hour trip, everyone had a chance to reel in a fish! I would highly recommend this charter!

Boat, crew and fishing were all top notch!
Captain Brian, Mike and Rylie did a great job. We landed 7 yellow fin tuna and ended the night with 4 tunas on 4 poles at once, caught them all! It was my friends first time fishing on the ocean and the crew did a great job teaching and cheering her on. Highly recommend this charter regardless of your experience level fishing.

Fantastic
We had such a great time! We didn’t have a lot of fishing experience but they were supportive and gave us great instruction. We ended up in the end knowing what we were doing and having a bunch of fish to show for it. They positively included everyone. Very professional.
