If clear blue waters, a cloudless sky and an exciting morning spent fishing sound like a good time to you, come and join Pismo Adventure Charters. Aboard their ocean kayaks it's all about you, picture perfect weather and Lingcod or Rockfish just waiting for your bait.
Captain Michael specializes in nearshore fishing trips where you can expect to hook a Rockfish or a Lingcod, but don't be surprised if something else nibbles at your bait.
This fishing adventure will unfold right there in front of your eyes as you will be going out in one-person 11' Ocean kayaks. Only two are taken out at a time under Captain Michael's lead.
All the fishing gear you'll need is provided for you. Water and snacks from Clif snacks bar are also there for your enjoyment!
Please keep in mind that you will need to buy a fishing license either online or at Walmart.
Along with your positive attitude, you'll need to bring a beanie, a thermos, a pair of suitable shoes and you'll be ready to have a good time! If you want to spend an afternoon with your family, look no further, since kids 16+ are more than welcome and life jackets are provided.

Hi Jeff, thanks for going fishing with Tom and Pismo Adventures. Great Halibut.
Things started out slow, took a few shifts for us to find the fish, but they hit well afterwards. We caught a variety of rock fish in addition to a lingcod and a shark. Mike was well prepared, had a safety plan, bait, and good quality equipment. We also saw some adorable otters nearby the fish site...so cool to see them thrive in the wild. BTW, no restrooms near the launch point, so have a plan in advance. Good luck!!

We had an awesome experience kayaking and fishing among the kelp beds. Otters and birds were everywhere. Oh yeah, and rock fish. Mike is a great companion and guide.
Unfortunately, we did not get to stay in the water long because my hubby got sea sick. However, Mike was awesome!!! He was very patient and detailed. He made sure we felt safe, gave a detailed demonstration before getting in the water, and had quality equipment. Mike was not upset yet very understanding that we had to go in fast. You get to keep the fish if you catch!!! Other people were in the same area kayaking/fishing as well.

Mike is a great tour guide! He’s genuine, honest and passionate about what he does. This is my third experience ocean kayak fishing with mike over the last year. I’ve brought along friends and family each time and they all loved the experience. He’s taught me a lot about intuition on the water and watching the weather for safety. I’ve grown to love the sport and I thank mike for that!

Captain Michael caught his first Trout at a fish farm when he was 5. He has lived around these parts his whole life and fished ever since he was a kid. It's his love for fishing that made him decide to start running his own business and spend every day doing what he loves. Seeing his customers' face-splitting smiles when they hook a Rockfish is his absolute favorite part of the job.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site is not included in trip rates.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
