Central Coast Fishing Charters is not your standard fishing charter – to us, fishing is a passion, not a business. Join OUP-V certified captains John Montgomery and Rich Pusateri as we share our knowledge to catch the most sought-after fish in the Pacific Ocean. We operate out of Morro Bay, California, and have over a half-century of collective fishing experience.

By booking with Rich, you'll be fishing aboard our 29' Parker, the newest addition to the CCFC fleet and one of the most dialed-in 2320s on the West Coast. Built like a true fishing machine, she boasts 80 square feet of deck space (newly refurbished), upgraded 150-gallon fuel tank, custom stainless rails, multiple bait tanks, hydraulic anchor winch, 32 rod holders, and much more…all thoughtfully outfitted by a local commercial fisherman.

Powered by a new Yamaha 300hp and 9.9hp Tohatsu kicker, the Parker offers unmatched seaworthiness paired with slow-trolling capability. Garmin electronics, radar, and a B175HW thru-hull transducer provide reliable navigation and pinpoint fish-finding accuracy, while the pilothouse delivers a dry ride out of the elements. Most importantly, the Parker has the kind of fishy mojo you feel the moment you step aboard — she's a proven workhorse. Fully equipped with a USCG-inspected safety package, she's ready for safe, professional trips from Estero Bay to Big Sur.

We'll depart from Morro Bay and target everything from Rockfish, Lingcod, and California Halibut to King Salmon, White Seabass, and Bluefin Tuna. Our methods include trolling, drift fishing, jigging, light tackle casting, and even kite fishing to catch Bluefin Tuna. You decide whether you'll keep your catch and kids of all ages are welcome to join.

Our crew will supply the best gear on the market for your trip: Accurate/Penn/Shimano reels, Phenix rods, and when available, live bait. Your trip will also include fish cleaning and bagging. Bring your snacks, drinks, and valid California fishing license.
