Choose a day that suits you and embark on a memorable fishing adventure in Mauritius!
The boat you’ll use is a restored 25’ Nabridas center console that can fit up to 4 guests. It runs on twin 60 HP Suzuki four stroke engines and has got GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology for safe and efficient navigation. The boat is equipped with a fighting chair, outriggers, downriggers, as well as snorkeling gear. There’s a multimedia system you can use to enjoy your trip even more and an ice-box to store your fish or drinks. For any help you need, there will be a first mate on board.
The species you’ll be targetting include Spangled Emperor, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Rockfish, and many more great species. You can attract them in many different ways and you’ll be keeping your catch. Some of the techniques you can utilize are deep sea fishing, trolling, jigging, as well as handline fishing. Kids are welcome to join any trip.
Your captain will provide the fishing gear, live bait, lures, and drinks. He also covers you for the fishing licenses. You should only bring some drinks before you start the trip.

5 Hour Trip–Dolphins + Reef Fishing
Great trip, well worth it, would do it again
We did The Dolphin Watching and Reef Fishing. Terrific trip, Rishi is a great guy, and Rom, his crew mate was also good. Both very knowledgeable and patient with our group of 4 who hadn't fished before. We got to see plenty of dolphins, then also caught a real assortment of fish - no idea what they were though :-). All in all a really good trip that was not too expensive for what we got. I'd definitely recommend "Fishi Rishi" to others.

Adrenaline, Big Fish & Great Team – Highly Recommended!
I recently went on a Big Game Fishing trip with Captain Rishi and his crew, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized — they arranged a smooth transfer from my hotel to the port and back. The boat was very comfortable and fully equipped with everything needed for a successful fishing trip. It was my first time doing something like this, but Captain Rishi and his team were true professionals — focused, friendly, and 100% committed to helping us catch fish and enjoy the thrill of the experience. Within the first hour, we tried different fishing gear and techniques, and we managed to catch 5 tunas! The excitement, the adrenaline, and the dedication of the crew made it an incredible adventure. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable fishing trip! P.S. If it’s your first time, be prepared for possible seasickness — better to come prepared just in case.

Amazing All round trip!!!
Easily recommend Rishi and his crew for a total Mauritian fishing trip. Rishi’s knowledge of the waters, his efforts to catch using all techniques is something that most won’t offer. Popping, jigging, lures, live bait, dead bait, trolling… he will do it all to get you fish and boy did we get fish!!! Straight into superb sized Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and a few tuna too. Rishi and his crew are proper fisherman, very polite, very accommodating and very helpful. Rishi also organised our transfer and the young lad was unbelievably polite, trustworthy, respectful and gave us a brilliant insight into Mauritius. The boat was absolutely gleaming clean and the tackle was first class. Live bait was literally hand lined in so couldn’t be fresher. I’d fish with him and his crew everyday. 9 Hour Trip – Big Game Fishing
Perfect fishing day !
We had an absolutely fantastic day out on the water! The crew was super friendly and took great care of us – they even brought along extra sandwiches they had organized themselves, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We managed to catch two Yellowfin Tuna, and the crew truly gave it their all to help us land a big one. They were incredibly motivated and did everything possible – sometimes it just comes down to luck. The boat was top-notch and fully equipped for all kinds of fishing: trolling, popping, live bait, jigging – you name it. You can really tell these guys are passionate and know what they’re doing. Absolutely recommended for anyone into serious sport fishing!

5 Hour Trip–Dolphins + Reef Fishing
Fish on.
Rishi was simply amazing. Booked him through Fishing Booker and he immediately got in contact with us to ask what we wanted. We opted for some Tuna fishing, followed by Marlin trawling and then a trip to swim with the dolphins. Left at 5am as recommended by Rishi as 1st light is a good time and so it was. Started with jigging at 200m deep and landed a lovely 20kg Yellowfin followed by a 25kg Albercore and then a smaller Yellowfin. Tried trolling for a Marlin but sadly did not catch one. Rishi then put straight onto the Dolphins where we all jumped in amongst the dolphins and swam with them. Incredible experience. He has done fishing for 20 years and know his stuff. We would have blanked if we had gone out later so go early to avoid disappointment. A really great day and much better than getting one of the big fancy sport boats. He is local and works bloody hard to get you a fish. Fantastic day out with the family and you will not be disappointed Many thanks George, Fiona, Gus & Ted.
