If you're in Chicago and would like to do some fishing for Yellow Perch, your guide specializes in finding the most productive fishing holes without even leaving the city. You'll have a reliable boat to take you where the fish are and top-grade St. Croix rods and Shimano reels to help you reel the catch in.
What's more, before you start your trip, Capt. Eric will show you the best techniques to use, and he'll talk you through what you need to know to have a successful trip. You can take your pick between half day, full day, and die-hard trips, depending on your fishing ambitions and how much time you've got. And don't worry about your experience, Eric can accommodate all levels.
Come aboard his 19' Lund aluminum fisher that is geared with quality navigational electronics and can take up to 4 anglers to new fishing victories. There's a live bait well on board and a trolling motor that will allow you to be stealthy while looking for your prey.
When you catch your limit and decide to come back to land, Eric will clean and fillet the catch for you, which means that you're one cooking session away from a delicious meal. The captain will go out of his way to organize a fun trip, and on your side, you should take care of your fishing license, drinks, and snacks.

Morning Half Day Trip on March 24, 2024 • 3 adultsTrip was super cool. Me and two buds met Capt. Mike. Super cool guy, very knowledgeable, and we all walked away learning so much about fishing with different set-ups. Bass was the target and caught few good sizes. Definitely a positive experience, and we all agreed this is gonna happen again in the warmer months. 10/10.

6 Hour Nighttime Walleye/Musky Trip on May 29, 2025 • 2 adultsWe were very exicited about our Walleye/Muskie night trip until talking to the captain the night before. To begin, we did not go out with captain Eric, he passed us on to his friend, Louie. He was great, but after talking to him the night before our trip, we were a bit disappointed when he told us that Walleye and Muskie in May is not great. He was going to try his best to get us on some Walleye, but that it will be hard, and it was. Instead of just wasting time, we spend at least half the trip targeting Bass and Bluegills. It was fun and we got fish, but it was still disappointed that we did not get what the trip was supposed to be. Had I known that May is not a good month, I would have changed our trip to mid summer, when it is best for Walleye base on what the captain told me. Since I could no longer cancel our trip, we made the best of it. Again, I understand that sometimes the bite is on and some times the bite is off, but do check if the date you are trying to book is typically good or bad for what you want to target. Last, a day on the water is still a good day, and we enjoyed our trip, but it could have been better.
