Join Maamudaa charters for a perfect vacation day! Located in Faresmaathodaa, they run fishing trips year round and you can find them at the marina every day except Friday. Your guides on this adventure will be Captain Mohammed and Ahmed. They are experienced local anglers and there's not a good fishing spot these guys haven't discovered yet.
You'll be fishing on a custom 20' boat that accommodates up to three guests. There's enough room for everyone to fish at the same time, so you don't have to wait for your turn. To speed things up, the boat is powered by a 100 HP Yamaha engine, that can reach the speed up to 32 knots. The boat features GPS, fishfinder, and a cooler.
The main fishing techniques that will get you fish are popping, jigging, and trolling. Which one works best? Well, that depends on what you want to catch. You'll have a chance to go after Giant Trevally, Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack. Go up to 6 miles offshore and you may land Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Barracuda, and Wahoo.
The captain will provide you with Shimano, Penn, and Daiwa fishing equipment and bait. There's fresh water on the boat but feel free to bring other beverages and snacks of your choice. Kids age 3 and up are welcome and life vests for them are provided.

Maamudaa charter is run by two guides – Mohammed and Ahmed. They are both locals that have been fishing for over 10 years. Sometimes on the island, they make local small friendly tournaments where he participates. Everybody is welcome on their boat, regardless of their experience and skill level.

Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
