We had a great 2 hour trip! When we left the marina we had a nice 10 minute boat ride and were on the fish pulling them in as soon as we got into the bay. We filled up the ice box with more fish than we could take and were back to the beach to enjoy the afternoon. My 10 year old even caught a few sharks which he has been talking about since the trip a few weeks ago. Would definitely recommend and will fish with the Captain Shawn again when we get back to the area.
We had a great time on our charter with Captain Shawn from Bama Bandit Sport Fishing. We opted for the inshore charter with our 13 and 9 year old joining us, so Captain Shawn took us to his spots along the channel. We had a lot of bites and were able to bring in enough fish to cook up a meal for four that night. Shawn was great with the boys, showing them how to cast and giving them feedback during and following a catch (or “one that got away”) so they could learn something and move forward with some better techniques. We also managed to catch a few catfish for good measure. All in all, we had a great family outing and Shawn was a good fit for us as our captain.
Captain Shawn knows his stuff!!! My 19 and 14 year old boys had the best time. Captain was such an amazing teacher of proper fishing techniques and was a wealth of knowledge answering all their questions. They garnered great info. Highly recommend it!!!😎😎😎🎣
Captain Shawn was knowledgeable and answered all of our million questions. it was a great trip!! 10/10 would absolutely book with him again! but word of advice! call him! dont book online. ** trust me**
Have done other fishing charters on the Gulf Coast many times on vacation, Shawn is definitely in a class of his own. Knows all the good spots knows all the good techniques. Will gladly teach you those techniques. We ended up catching seven fish, kept five. I got to catch a massive drum and was definitely a very good experience, definitely would recommend for others!
