Atlantida Punta Cana – 35' Contender 

We had a action filled day on the 6hr trip. We caught our fishing jigging, and caught a variety of reef fish. The crew were excellent to keep us going with fresh bait, changing locations to keep the bite hot, and helping us out with any questions or tackle changes as the day progressed. The boat was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to have tight lines and be in good hands.

Wind was blowing 20+ knots and seas were choppy. We had planned for 5 of us to go out but it just ended up being me and my 11 year old son. By the end of the trip our arms were sore from reeling in fish! We caught 50+ fish. Two giant mutton snappers, more than a dozen grouper and lots of yellowtail along with plenty of reef fish. The captain Alejandro and the mate Juan were fantastic. They didn’t speak much English and we didn’t speak much Spanish but we managed to communicate just fine. Easy when you’re reeling in double headers back to back. We can’t wait to book these guys again!

We originally booked a smaller boat but the operator let us know the day prior that we had been upgraded to a larger boat - which was fine by us. The first few hours we didn’t have a bite but the crew kept on searching to find fish. We had 3 lines hit at the same time with 2 Mahi Mahi and 1 barracuda. We ended the trip by hooking a large tiger shark, which was a definite highlight of our overall trip. The crew was friendly and attentive - would recommend them to others looking for a fishing charter.

My dad and I had a blast! We caught so many fishing my arm was getting tired. We caught 8 different species. A few big ones aswell. The captain and his partner went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time possible. They provided plenty of food and drinks. I hope we can come back to go out with this crew again

I requested this specifically for my grandkids to fish on bottom and reef fishing. The boat was not set up for it at all and we immediately went straight out to troll. We never got to do any of it because we never should have gone out due to high seas which we were told were not bad. It should have been immediately cancelled. They "upgraded to a bigger boat" but that boat was just for trolling off shore. A small discount was given but we just took an awful boat ride out a couple miles and returned; clearly not worth $850

Booked a six hour trip for bottom fishing but the crew we met said they had been having success trolling. Decided to give it a try and were glad we did. Jose and Manuel were fantastic. Jose is a great fisherman and kept our lines clean, baited and in the right spots. We ended up catching nine Mahi Mahi, two Barracuda and a King Mackerel. Other than one of our group getting a little sea sick it was a great trip. As Jose said “No puke no fish”. 😁

despite part of our crew being extremely sea sick (no fault of the crew) had a great time. they pivoted got us close to shore so we could grab a swim

the captain and crew put us on the fish. we would definitely book another trip.

Went on the 6 hour trip and caught 2 Barracuda and 5 Mahi Mahi with one being over 30 pounds! Capitan and crew was great. Seas can be very rough at the end of February when we went. While it was safe it is very easy for inexperienced fisherman to get sick.
