River Fishing Adventure – Lake Allatoona
Explore the freshwater fishing opportunities of Georgia with River Fishing Adventure! You’ll fish lakes such as Allatoona, Carters, Lanier, and Nottely. Lake Allatoona offers a variety of smaller size fish while the Etowah River offers the chance at a true trophy fish! Your guide Marty Petza has over 34 years of experience on the water, having chased fish of all sizes.
You’ll head out on his 22’ Sea Pro center console boat powered by a Yamaha 200 HP engine. The boat can accommodate up to 6 people fishing at the same time, so invite your friends and family and have a great time. It’s equipped with a wireless trolling motor which will help you get closer to those easily spooked specimens.
Marty will provide you with everything you might need, including rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait and a range of artificial lures. The crew advocates catch-and-release practices in order to conserve the fisheries for future generations to enjoy. However, you can keep a legal limit of your catch to take home.
There’s a variety of fish species that inhabit these waters, so there’s always something you can target. You’ll mainly be fishing for different species of Bass – Striped, Hybrid, Largemouth, Spotted, and White, as well as Catfish.
Feel free to bring your kids with you, and make this a trip they’ll remember. Spend some quality family time with them and make some amazing new memories. Bring your fishing license, some food and drinks if you’d like, and you’re all set!
Get out on your newest fishing adventure, and have some serious fun with River Fishing Adventure!
