Pinfeather Guide Service, LLC
Create some great memories on the flats or inshore on the Texan coast with Pinfeather Guide Service. Captain Keith Hudson has been fishing the waters around Port O’Connor for 45 years, making him the man you want to guide you for some superb fishing. He makes you, the customer, his number one priority on the trip, and you’re the reason he loves this job so much.
He runs a 2017 model, 25’ Haynie Catamaran. It’s 250 HP Yamaha engine can get up to 40 knots, which makes it the perfect tool to power you through the shallows, reefs, and bays around Port O’Connor. It has space for you and 3 of your friends to enjoy an intimate trip in the sun.
You will use spinning reels or bait casters to pull in some Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead and Black Drum. This inshore fishing adventure will take you through the back bays, the shell reefs of West Matagorda Bay, or wading among the many miles of grass or sand flats.
When you come aboard, all of the necessary gear will be provided for you. Captain Keith will clean your catch to your specifications and pack it for you as part of the price.
If you’re taking kids under 12, then it’s best to take your own life vest for them as the type 1 life jackets he provides can be quite bulky. Light clothes (no dark clothes), camera, sunscreen, ice chest, drinks, food and an extra cooler if you wish, are all things you should consider bringing along. Also, don’t forget to purchase a 3-day temporary fishing license before you come aboard. Capt Hudson hopes to see you on the water soon for a fun day making some great memories.
