There's fish to be caught in Tillamook Bay and Captain Herman Fleishman is ready to guide you through it. He's been running charters in this river for 9 years and has been fishing in them for even longer. If there's one man to take you onto it then that man is Herman.

This charter is suitable for 6 people as you'll be going out on the captain's spacious, 23' Alumaweld boat. The size of the boat make it perfect for bay river fishing as it can get up and close to the banks and to narrower spots where fish often like to hide.

When you're fishing with Captain Herman he'll take you over to the best spots to go after Chinook Salmon. These are great game fish that can be cooked in a variety of manners. He'll also clean them for you so they can go straight into the pan once you're home.

Top of the range gear is provided for you by the captain, who'll do his best to ensure you have a great trip and catch as many fish as possible.

When preparing for your trip make sure that you pack some drinks and snacks. Also book a fishing license beforehand, which you can buy online. After that, you're all set for a day of exploring and fishing on the Tillamook Bay.

This was my 2nd trip with Captain Herman. Unfortunately I didn't catch anything. But that wasn't the Captain's fault. Herman was very patient and kind to us novices. He helped my friend land a monster Chinook!! Hope Herman is around next year! Marsha

The day was wonderful. We caught several Coho salmon, but they were all released. Our boat had one King caught and one harvested. There were plenty conversations, some humor, and a shared joy whenever there was a fish on.

Captain Herman Fleishman has been an avid fisherman since he was 12 years old. He started running this fishing charter in 2014 but he also used to guide when he was a younger man in Alaska in the 1980s. Not only does he love taking you out, but he also loves to teach you the successful methods that he's been using for decades.
