Trips with Discover Alaskan Adventures are great for kids, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be welcome aboard one of our 28' Aluminum fishing boats with room for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a portable rv style restroom on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Forest and Ivan were amazing. super knowledgeable and were very friendly. made our first trip make me double think our family vacation. Definitely will bring my family up here and do this agin with them. Thank you to Chris and especially Forest and Ivan for making this an experiance of a life time.

Chris was extremely accommodating with how late we were and the crew, Mike and Tucker, went above and beyond with turning our family fishing trip around into a fantastic experience. So thankful for Chris and Joey! My husband and I had an excellent time halibut fishing for the first time. Equipment and boat were in excellent condition, guys were extremely professional, and their skill high level! It was a highlight of our Alaska vacation and will be recommending Chris and the crew to anyone who wants to try halibut fishing. Joey and Chris were a wealth of facts and information that made it fun! They processed our fish right there (for a small fee) which made taking our fish with us easy peasy! We’ll be back for sure! Thanks guys!
Absolutely loved the crew! They were funny and extremely helpful with directing everybody on what to do, what to look for, how fast to reel, and the different kinds of creatures we caught that we weren’t going for! They did very well on finding a great spot for the fish and everybody got great sizes and their limit! Would very much recommend!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 30 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
