Alaska Fly Fishing Tours – Drift Boat Guides
If you want to fish in Anchor Point, book a trip with Alaska Fly Fishing Tours. We specialize in River Bank Fishing on the famous Anchor River.
These waters are known for Steelhead, Dolly Varden, Rainbow Trout, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.
If you want a drift boat trip in this area, we travel up to the Kasilof River or the Kenai River for trophy Steelhead, Rainbow Trout and a 'Fill the Cooler Day' of Sockeye Fishing! The Kasilof River offers great King Salmon fishing early in the season, although we can only keep the Hatchery Kings, the wild Kings must be let go! The famous Kenai River offers great Sockeye Salmon fishing and Silvers in the fall! Capt. Grant offers fly fishing, and suggest you bring your own fly gear.
Alaska Fly Fishing Tours welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
You'll step aboard a 18' Koffler drift boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Grant has rods and reels, waders/wader boots if needed and all the flies you will need, and is included in the price.
You'll need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. There will be a link to buy your licenses online in the confirmation email we send you. King Salmon will require a King Stamp if you plan to keep a King Salmon.
Bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), rain gear, bottled water, a pack lunch or snacks and your favorite old hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Alaska Fly Fishing Tours.

We did a guided drift boat fishing trip with Grant on the Kenai River. We caught multiple Sockeye and one Leopard Rainbow Trout. Grant was a fabulous guide, knowledgeable, helpful and patient. He worked hard at teaching me how to fly fish, which was no simple task. We would do the same trip again without question!!
